Chapter 4

Delirious POV
I can't believe Evan is in love me. Me. Out of all people he could have chosen. My cheeks started hurt from smiling. I know Trent is going to be hurt, but he knows about Evan. Well not by name but it he must know it's really difficult to fall out of love with someone. I broken from my thoughts when I hear a knock at my door. I got up from the couch to open the door. Shit I didn't want to go through this right now.

"Hey Jonathan"

"Hey Trent" I step aside, so he could come in. "So how was practice?"

He smiles "it was alright" and hugs me, but then pulls away quickly. Shit, do I have Vanoss's scent on me. "Has someone been here?"

"Yeah just one of the guys."

He squints his eyes "and you happen to have their scent on you."

"Yeah I told him I was gay and you know how hard it was from me."

He looks at me for a minute before he smiles "Well I'm glad you step out of your shell. How did he take it?"

"Really good he wished I told him sooner."

"What's his name?"

"Evan but he likes to be called Vanoss." I see his smile falter a little. "Is there something wrong?"

"No I actually saw him today during practice."

"Yeah he's really good at hockey. Did you guys talk?" He had a look on his face that I couldn't recognize. "Trent?"

"Hm? Oh yeah we talked. He's...very protective over you."

I tried not to blush because I now know the true reason why "yeah we've known each other for a long time."

"....Is he the one?"

"What do you mean?"

"Is he the one you're in love with?" My eyes widened shit what am I going to say? "What happen when he was here?"

"We just talked."

"DON'T FUCKING LIE TO ME!"
I flinched at on how loud his voice was. I've never heard him yell before. "The truth. What happen" he gritted his teeth.

I can't tell him not yet. Not in this condition. "I told you we-" A stinging sensation rush across my face sending me to the ground.

"You enjoy it didn't you?"

I started to crying "What are you talking about?"

"THE FUCKING KISS. I KNOW YOU GUYS KISS DON'T EVEN TRY TO DENY." I can't believe this is happening. I never thought Trent would act like this. I felt a force in my stomach and starting coughing violently. I heard the door open "you tell anyone what happen well just remember I'm rich." The door slam shut causing me to flinch lay on the ground too pain to get up.

Monday
Vanoss POV
"Evan you've been smiling on and off since we got to school what's up" Tyler said.

"Delirious and I kissed."

"What! That's great man when was this?"

"Friday after practice."

"So are you two thing now?"

"Well not yet. He's dating Trent."

"Trent! So that's why they've been hanging out so often." I nodded. "So what happens now?"

"Delirious told me to give him a couple of days to sort things out."

"Well I hope things work in your favor."

I smiled "thanks man." The bell ring signaling 4th period was over. As I walking out of class, I spotted Delirious going through his locker. I sneaked up behind him and wrap my arms around his waist, but he hissed in pain. I pulled back immediately "Whoa you're alright?"

"Yeah just had a rough night."

"What happened?" He didn't answer and continue to look through his locker. "Jonathan?"

He sighs and finally looks at me "nothing don't worry about." I noticed one side of his face is red.

"Why one side of your face red?" He looks down and closes his locker. I pull him close to me and lifted up his shirt. He had big bruise right near his stomach.

He pulled away from me "Evan stop!"

"How did you get?" He didn't respond. Please god tell me he didn't. "Did Trent do this you" I said softly. I saw a tear fall down his face. I grabbed his hand "Jonathan please tell me what happened?"

He looked at our hands "Y-yes."

What! He hurt my Jonathan. That's of son of bitch. He has no idea who's messing with. "That son of bitch is going to pay!"

"Evan No!"

"Jonathan hurt you and I can't allow that. I'm supposed to protect you."

"Please Evan don't do anything. I won't forgive myself if you get hurt."

"Jon I'll be ok-"

"NO! His family is rich and powerful. You have no idea of what he's capable of doing." He sighs "Please stay out of this. I can handle it myself." I nodded but I cross my fingers behind my back. I'm sorry Jonathan, but if you think I'm just sit back and watch you get beaten down then you're wrong.

"Come on let's get you to the bathroom so you can clean up." He nods. We walked to the bathroom and I told him I'll stay by the door. As soon as he went inside, I immediately text Wildcat.

V: Tyler, This fucking Trent guy slapped Delirious and hit him in the stomach.

W: What the fuck? Really! Need help?

V: Yeah Delirious said his family is rich and powerful

W: What about the others?

V: Let's not alert them yet. Let's see how crazy this guy really is.

W: Alright so what's the plan?

V: Met me behind the school we'll discuss there

W: Alright see you than

"I'm done." I quickly put my phone away.

"Alright come on let's head to lunch."
