Chapter 18

Vanoss POV
Maybe I should wait. I don't want to risk losing the biggest moment of our lives. But maybe it could be romantic right after she comes home. I could ask one of the guys to watch it but still. I sighed as I rub my hand across my face. I don't know how long it would take. I don't want to rush I need it to be perfect. "Evan" I heard Delirious call out. I went upstairs and Delirious was under the covers looking like he was going to take a nap.

"Yes Jon."

"Can you grab me my teddy bear" he pointed it at the closet. I smirked as I went towards the bear. I remember I gave it him as our celebration for having a baby girl.

"You want this teddy bear?" I wave the bear in front of him.

He frowned "come on Evan I'm tired."

"What will I get in return?"

"Peace and quiet?"

I smiled and shook my head before sitting next to him "I was thinking something more than that" I whispered.

He blushed "Uh-" I cut him off with a kiss as I cup his face with my hand. We kissed for only a moment before I pulled away.

Delirious was in a daze as I smiled and place the bear in his lap "get some rest I have to go out to get something. Call me if you need me" I kissed him on the cheek before I got up and left.

Delirious POV
Goddamnit it why does Evan always to tease me like that? I sighed as I got comfortable hugging my teddy bear. Before I got to shut my eyes, I felt a sharp pain in my stomach. I tried to ignore, but it kept getting worse. I sat up and clutched my stomach. I remove the covers and there was a wet stain on the bed. That's when I knew I was going into labor. I reach my phone trying to call Evan, but I had a feeling he wasn't going to answer since he's probably on the road by now. The phone rings 6 times and then it went to voicemail. The contractions were getting worse by the minute. I kept doing the breathing exercise Sam taught me. I gave Sam a call, and she answered immediately. "Jonathan? What's wrong?"

"It's time" I breathe out.

"Okay hold on I'll be right there."

"Spare key in pot" I hung up and continue my breathing exercise.

Five minutes later, I heard the front door open and closed "Jonathan!"

"Upstairs" I shouted. I heard footsteps quickly ascend upstairs. She helped me out of bed and downstairs.

"Just keep breathing. I told Ryan to call Melan, so she should be on her way soon." She help me in the car and we drove quickly to her house. Ryan came outside and help Sam get me down to the basement. "Ryan go check if Melan is here" he nodded as Sam help me change my clothes and into a hospital gown. "Did you call Evan?"

I nodded "he just had went out, so he couldn't answer probably on the road."

"Okay I'll tell Ryan to call Evan once Melan gets here." I heard footsteps coming downstairs and Melan appeared.

"I'm here I'm here" she frantically rush over to us. "Okay Sam I need anesthesia stat." She nodded and went over brought over a large canister.

"Okay Jonathan this is going to make you sleepy. You won't feel a thing. I'm going to do everything to make sure you and your baby are safe." I nodded. She put a mask on my face as I breathe in the gas. My vision started to get blurred and my eyes started to grow heavy until I felt asleep.

Time Skip after the Delivery
I flutter my eyes to see a blind light. I waited for my eyes to adjust until I saw Melan and Sam standing in front him. "He's awake" Melan smiled.

"What happened? Where's Luna" I tried to sit up but I felt a pain in my stomach.

"Whoa whoa take it easy Jonathan. Everything went well. Melan had to perform a c-section so just relax for awhile" Sam said preventing from making anyone sudden movements.

"Can I see her?"

"Sure I'll be right back" Sam went upstairs and soon she kept back with Evan and he was holding her. I gasped at the sight of her. He rested Luna in my arms as I looked her. She had brown hair, little cat ears, and I'm sure she had Evan's eyes. (Luna is sleeping)

I felt my cheeks getting wet "she's beautiful" I looked up at Evan to see him already smiling.

"She's prefect" he whispered and gave a small kiss. I giggled as I hear Luna purring in her sleep. I can't believe this is happening. Evan and I come so far in life. We've been friends since the beginning. He saved me from an abusive relationship. Now we're in love and can start a family.
