(LIGHT TW: SELF HARM. Also this part is a longer than all the others so just beware)

Upon reaching the Byers home the group realizes two things, one:

No one is there. At all. The kids are all god knows where, and Jonathan's car is gone as well which means he probably brought them somewhere.

And two:

Eddie fainted.

"How did you not realize??" Robin yelled from the front of the car, very clearly freaking out.

"I just thought he was tired! He didn't get like any sleep last night." Steve yelled back also freaking out, and Dustin snorted slightly in amusement but quickly covered it up with a cough.

"What do we do?? He's all pale and stuff now,"Dustin paused and stared at Eddie's skin, "Well, paler than before that is." Steve shoved Dustin out of the middle seat and into the seat next to one of the windows to get a closer look at Eddie. He still had his fangs and long nails, but his wings were still concealed.

"Eddieeee" Steve murmured almost angrily,
"wake upppppp, come on." He lightly patted Eddie's cheek but to no avail.

"I guess we can carry him out. Put him on the couch while you guys phone the other kids homes to see where the hell everyone is." Steve said as he leaned over Eddie and popped the door open.

"Okay then." Robin responded as she opened her own door.

Steve crawled over Eddie and tried to pull him into his arms. "Dustin- come help dude." He let the much shorter kid take one shoulder lightly as Steve held most of Eddie's deadweight. As they made their way up to the house Robin tried at the doorknob but it wouldn't budge.

"I know where the spare is hidden." Nancy stated as she walked a little ways down the porch and dug underneath a dark wicker couch, a few moments later she jumped up triumphantly with a small metal key in hand. "Got it!"

"Great job Nance," Steve said sarcastically, grunting under Eddie's weight. He seemed to have gotten taller, and being unconscious gave him an even heavier feel. And Steve hadn't worked out since highschool basketball practice, so his muscles were questionable, i should probably get back into that then.. He thought to himself.

"Oh- Right." Nancy rushed over and quickly unlocked the door, throwing it open in a dramatic sweep. She flicked on a light as Steve and Dustin hobbled in and laid Eddie on the couch long ways, his feet and head both stuck up on the arm rests. Steve immediately sat down on the floor next to where Eddie's head was and watched the girls and Dustin rush to the phone in the kitchen.

Steve stared at Eddie, his head was kinda hanging off the couch and his mouth was open, his entire neck exposed. Steve saw scars from the demo-bats and flinched slightly, he hadn't seen Eddie in good enough light recently to see anything like that. He quietly recalled his own scars and touched his side softly. But his sob-story train of thought was quickly interrupted.

"I wanna call Lucas first." Dustin yelled yanking the phone from Nancy's grasp.

"Fine whatever, but i can bet you that almost everyone is probably at my house in the basement." Nancy quipped back and leaned against the far wall next to Robin.

Steve watched as Robin bit at her raw nail beds, and Nancy grabbed her hand and held it down away from her face. She didn't make a big scene but Robin looked down at her with wide eyes and slightly red cheeks, then back at Steve who just shrugged.

She looked back at Nancy and then down at their intertwined hands and her face turned an even darker shade of crimson.

"Shit." Dustin cursed as he slammed the phone back into the base and walked in a tight circle.
