As time rolled by, about a week, Steve noticed the subtle changes in Eddie's vampire state. He didn't bite Steve anymore, his nails grew shorter and shorter until they were only about an inch long, he didn't pop out his wings anymore, either because he didn't want to or simply couldn't. And his fangs slowly shrank, though as of now they are still oddly pointy and a little longer than usual, but they were now mostly a normal size. Steve thought a little about that first one, it was a week without blood.

How had he not fainted at least once or twice like he did before after only a few days? He waved the thought away like a pest and refocused his attention to the scene at hand.

Steve smiled as he stared at Eddie's face, he was busy working on something with his guitar that Steve hadn't quite listened to because he was so distracted. He stared at the boys face, the way his tongue was kinda stuck out in concentration, his eyebrows knit together. He had his hair in a ponytail by god a ponytail. Steve almost couldn't help himself when he watched Eddie put it up.

"What...?" Eddie asked slowly, with a small smirk forming on his face.

"Nothin. You're really distracting." Steve murmured fondly, sitting against the wall on Eddie's bed.

"Oh yeah? You are too. I need to concentrate big boy." Eddie waved a hand in Steve's direction with a laugh and Steve swatted it away, his own grin forming.

"Oh do you?" Steve purred as he sat straight up, moving ever so slowly to Eddie. He tried to make it predatory, but Eddie just laughed and shook his head from where he sat crisscrossed with the guitar in his lap.

"I really can't right now sweetheart." Eddie said a little more force-fully, but Steve didn't listen as he planted a kiss on Eddie's jawline, and then more down his neck. "Jesus. H Stevie you're making this so damn difficult." Eddie mused as he turned to Steve and planted a swift kiss to his lips before turning back to his guitar.

"What are you doing?" Steve asked as he moved to sit behind Eddie, wrapped his arms around Eddie's shoulder and his legs around his torso. He rested his head next to Eddie's and watched as he fiddled with the guitar.

"Nothing you would understand princess." Eddie murmured as he let his head fall back onto Steve's shoulder.

"You and your pet names.." Steve murmured fondly as he rested his head against Eddie's.

"You love them." Eddie grinned mischievously as he turned his head to stare at Steve, their eyes locking. "You're so pretty." Eddie ran a finger across Steve's face, he felt the sharp pressure of his nails against his cheek.

"Um.. yeah-" Steve felt the scene was off, but Eddie was staring at him with those lustful eyes again.

"Hey... Let's go for a fly." Eddie purred as he lifted Steve up with ease, setting him down off the bed so he could move the guitar off of his lap.

"A fly?!? What do you mean Eds?" Steve asked ridiculously, slowly backing away as Eddie moved towards him with a grin, his wings unfurled for the first time in a while.

"I mean, it's almost sunset. Wouldn't that be like, super romantic? We could fly out anywhere you wanted to, hell we could go to the top of one of those tall New York buildings. Wouldn't that be so much fun?" Eddie was smiling at Steve in a way he had never seen before, he couldn't refuse the puppy dog eyes.

"Fine. But be careful, I'm precious goods." Steve smiled softly as Eddie scooped him up. Steve had his arms around Eddie's neck and Eddie had his arms around Steve's torso as they opened the window in Eddie's bedroom and flew out.

At first Steve was so terrified, the way the wind whistled in his ears made him feel like he was falling. The loud gusts of Eddie's wings beating through the air, and once they got to a soft glide Steve let himself look up at Eddie.
