Sanas POV

Hosptial Room

"You're doing great, sweetheart", mother said squeezing my hand.

"Just breathe. You've got this".

I tried to focus on my breathing, but it felt impossible. The pain was so intense, consuming every inch of my body, and I let out a low groan as the contraction hit its peak.

"Okay, Sana, you're almost there. When the next contraction hits, I need you to push. Can you do that for me?", the doctor said.

I nodded weakly, gripping my mother's hand tighter as the pain began to swell again.

"Here it comes. Push!".

I clenched my jaw and leaned forward, pushing with everything I had. The room around me seemed to blur as the pain surged through my body, but I kept going.

Suddenly, there was a release. The pressure eased, and through the fog of exhaustion and pain, I heard it a tiny cry, weak at first, but growing stronger by the second. I slumped back against the bed, my whole body trembling, but a smile tugged at my lips. My mother was crying too, her hand still gripping mine as we both looked toward the doctor, who was now holding my baby boy.

"You did it", my mother said.

The nurse quickly cleaned him up and wrapped him in a soft blue blanket before bringing him over to me. My heart pounded as they placed him in my arms. I looked down at his tiny face, his scrunched-up features, his eyes tightly closed as he let out another soft wail. I couldn't stop the tears from streaming down my face as I gently ran my fingers over his little hand, so delicate, so fragile. I leaned down and kissed his forehead, feeling the overwhelming rush of love that filled every corner of my being.

"Hi, Jihyun", I whispered, my voice trembling as I pressed him closer to me.

"I'm your mommy".

My mother reached over, placing a hand on his head, tears still in her eyes.

"He's beautiful, Sana", she said softly.

I held my son closer, feeling his warmth against my chest.

"He's healthy and doing great. Would you like us to take him for a bit so you can rest?"

I shook my head, holding him a little tighter.

"No, I want him with me", I said.

"Of course. You rest when you're ready".
