Sanas POV
Baby Room
I stepped into the baby's room, the scent of fresh paint filling the air. Jihyo was perched on a small ladder, carefully applying a soft pastel colour to the walls. Her brow was furrowed in concentration, and I couldn't help but admire how focused she looked. I leaned against the doorframe, a smile creeping onto my face.
"Need a hand?", I called out, my voice light.
She turned her head, and a smile broke across her face when she saw me.
"Not unless you want to come here and get covered in paint", she teased, winking at me.
"But you look gorgeous just standing there".
I felt my cheeks heat at her compliment.
"I mean wow you look great", she said, stepping down from the ladder and closing the distance between us.
Her eyes sparkled with mischief as she reached out, tucking a loose strand of hair behind my ear.
"How about you help me choose the accent colour?".
Before I could respond, my phone buzzed in my pocket, pulling me out of the moment. I fished it out, glancing at the notification. My heart sank as I read the headline.
ClebGossip: Actress Chou Tzuyu is rumoured to be living with Park Rosé house who is her fellow co-star from My Wife is my stalker after the two have been caught more frequently together leaving Rosé house.
Tzuyu, is living with Rosé? Is she now dating her? Jihyo noticed the shift in my mood, her brow furrowing in concern.
"Sana? What's wrong?".
I shoved my phone back into my pocket.
"It's nothing", I lied, forcing a smile that didn't quite reach my eyes.
"Come on, you can't fool me that easily", Jihyo said, taking my hands in hers and pulling me closer.
"Tell me".
I opened my mouth to explain, but the words wouldn't come. Instead, I felt overwhelmed by the warmth of her touch, and the softness of her gaze. I needed a distraction, something to push away the anger boiling inside me. So, I leaned in and kissed her, hoping to lose myself in the moment. Jihyo responded eagerly, deepening the kiss as her hands slipped around my waist. When we finally pulled apart, I couldn't help but smile.
