Jihyos Apartment / Dinning Room

I was scrolling through real estate listings on my laptop. We need a new house. I mean I like her cosy apartment. But the kids cant share a bedroom forever.

"Morning".

I looked up seeing jihyo, holding her phone with a solemn expression on her face. She handed it to me, and there on the screen was an article from CelebGossip.

ClebGossip: Lawyer Kang Jihoon and CEO Lisa Manoban Arrested on Charges of Aggravated Assault, Rape, and Battery Against Actress Minatozaki Sana. Both Will Face Separate Trials, With the Actress Set to Testify.

"Are you sure you're fine with testifying?".

I nodded, trying to summon some confidence.

"Yes. I'm sure", she said.

A flicker of admiration crossed her face.

"That's brave of you, you know. It's crazy, everything that actually happened", she said.

I reached over, pulling her down onto the other chair so she was at eye level with me.

"Stop blaming yourself, Jihyo. It's not your fault I was attacked the next day".

"But... I can't stop thinking about it. I keep wondering if it could have been prevented if I'd done something different. Maybe I should have been there, Sana. Just cal lmy parents  to look after the kids".

I cupped her face gently, pulling her back to face me, and before she could say anything else, I leaned forward and pressed a soft kiss to her lips. 

"Jihyo, you being here with me now means everything. I don't want you carrying guilt that doesn't belong to you. They'll end up in jail. No one is going to hurt me again because i have you", I said.

I turned my laptop screen toward Jihyo, an excited grin spreading across my face.

"Look at this one", I said, pointing to a house listing.

"It's right across from Mina and Tzuyu's place. We could live there, Jihyo. The kids would have a huge garden to run around in, and we'd be close to family. I can see Hyunjae easily. And, I don't know... it feels like it could be our fresh start".

Jihyo paused, a shadow crossing her face.

"It does sound amazing, but.... What about my gym? I've worked so hard and it's become such a big part of my life. Moving to the city would mean leaving all that behind".
