Tzuyus POV

My Bedroom

I woke up to the smell of something warm and familiar drifting through the air. My mind was still foggy with sleep, but the scent of cooking instantly pulled me out of my daze. Pancakes? Eggs? It had been so long since I'd smelled anything like that coming from the kitchen. I blinked a few times, confused. Who's in my house? I mean maybe it could be rosé but then I would have had to let her in she doesn't have any free range to enter the house. I got out of bed and padded down the hallway

Kitchen

It wasn't Rose or some stranger. It was Sana. Sana was standing by the stove, her back turned to me as she flipped something in the pan. She was dressed casually, wearing one of my old t-shirts, her hair slightly messy as if she'd just woken up not too long ago. The sight of her being here, in our kitchen.

"Sana?".

She turned around, startled, as if she hadn't realized I was already awake.

"Morning".

I crossed the space between us in a heartbeat, not caring about the questions or the hurt or the confusion that had plagued me for weeks. I just wanted her here. Without thinking, I cupped her face in my hands and kissed her. Sana froze for a second, clearly surprised by my reaction, but then she melted into the kiss, her hands gripping the front of my shirt. The warmth of her lips against mine. I pulled back slightly, resting my forehead against hers, my breath shaky.

"You're back",  I said.

"I am".

"I missed you", I admitted softly, pulling her closer.

"I didn't think you'd come back. I want to explain what you saw between me and rosé".

Sana just leaned her head against my chest.

"Okay".

I tightened my hold on her, pressing a kiss to the top of her head.

"I think I burned the pancakes", she admitted with a sheepish laugh.

I couldn't help but laugh too, shaking my head.

"It's fine", I said, brushing a stray strand of hair from her face.

"I'd rather have burnt pancakes with you than perfect ones alone".

Sana's smile grew, and for the first time in a long time, it felt like we were going to be okay.
