Keatyn's POV

  My alarm blares in my ear and I struggle to turn it off. Groaning I turn over and see that I'm alone. Kaelyn either slept over at Trish's or is with Care. I contemplate skipping school but decide not to since Care will be planning a car wash for the cheer team. I check my phone for messages and see none, making me frown. Not even a check-in text? Sighing, I roll out of bed and go to my closet. I put on my undergarments and slip into some black cargo pants. I pull on some white doc martins and forgo a shirt. Instead I grab Kaelyns favorite white jean jacket and put it on over my black bralette.

  I throw my hair up into a ponytail and do light makeup. I get my book bag and run downstairs. Momma Liz has a cup of coffee to-go ready for me. I place a kiss on her cheek and thank her before running out of the house to my Jeep. I quickly start it up and drive to school with Play With Fire by Sam Tinnesz and Yacht Money playing in the background.
