Olivia woke up to Steve gone and her window curtains were peaked open, clueing her in that he must have snuck out in the early morning, knowing her mom well enough to know she would be furious. The dark haired girl smiled to herself before throwing her blankets off of her and getting changed into jeans, a shirt with orange, yellow and pink stripes. She threw on white converse before grabbing her bag and running down the stairs.

Before she could run out the door, her mother stopped her in her tracks, calling out her name.

"Hey, Liv, come here!" Her mother shouted from the kitchen. Olivia sighed, not wanting her mother to know she had left.

She reluctantly walked into the kitchen, her mother folding towels. "Yeah?"

"Um, I wanted to tell you your dad called. He doesn't know if he's able to come home next week like he planned." Her mother looked at her with a disappointed glare, Olivia slowly nodding her head.

"Uh, Mom? Is something, like, going on between you and Dad? I just... I don't know, something feels... wrong." Olivia shrugged, not knowing how to explain it.

"No, nothing going on, sweetheart." Her mom shook her head. "Well, his work is affecting our communication, but it kind of always did. It's nothing to worry about."

Thr dark-haired girl nodded in understanding as she looked at her mom, still having a gnawing feeling that something was wrong.

"Have a good day." Her mother muttered, looking up at her with a smile.

"You too." Olivia replied, quickly running out of the door and getting in her car.

When Olivia had gotten to the school, she had promised Steve she would watch him practice. She immediately supported him, promising she'd be there.

She sat at the bleachers, her book in her lap, which she hadn't spent much time reading since she continued to watch her best friend.

"Harrington, right?" Billy questioned, Steve trying to push past him. "I heard you used to run this school. That true?" Steve tried ignoring him, knowing how he tried flirting with the girl on multiple occasions. "King Steve, they used to call you, huh? They you turned bitch." Billy chuckled. "Yeah, and Olivia over there, seems to have no interest in you at all, it's sad, 'cause I could end up sleeping with her in seconds." He muttered, Steve clenching his jaw in anger before snapping at Billy.

"Hey, maybe you should just shut up and just play the game." Steve tried changing the subject at his anger, trying to pass Billy when he knocked him to the ground and swiped the ball from his hands.

Olivia winced silently, looking over at Steve. Steve got back to his feet, not catching up to them as Billy scored a point, Steve putting his hands on his hips angrily.

Olivia turned her head when she heard Nancy call out to Steve, who was standing by the door.

Steve walked out of the gym, Billy smirking over at Olivia who was sitting on the bleachers still, the girl rolling her eyes before she got up, grabbing her bag and walking to her class.

"What are you doing here?" Steven questioned Nancy as they stood outside in the alleyway.

"What do you think?" Nancy retorted. "Where were you this morning? I missed first period." Nancy raised her voice as her 'boyfriend?'

"I figured Jonathan would take you." Steve shrugged.

"Wha... What are you talking about?"
