After Nancy woke the rest of the group, they all continued venturing into the outskirts of Hawkins. Now, standing outside of the car, the group all had different processed looks on their faces as they stared out at the dark blue, rusted Creel house. There were panels covering the windows of the house, and understandably, there was a large wooden board covering the stain glass door.

They all began ascending the stairs of the house while giving each other glances. It was creepy and definitely not their scene.

Steve and Olivia both held hammers in their hands as they pried the rusted nails off of the board covering the door, one by one.

"What exactly are we supposed to be looking for in this shit hole?" Steve muttered as the couple worked at the board, everyone else standing behind them.

"We're not sure." Nancy responded from behind him, shrugging her shoulders. "We just know this house is important to Vecna."

"Because Max saw it in Vecna's red soup mind world?" Steve questioned, looking over his shoulder.

"Basically." Nancy shrugged.

"Great."

"Maybe it holds a clue to where Vecna is. Why he's back." Dustin spoke out loud. "Why he killed the Creels. And how to stop him before he comes back for Max."

Olivia looked over her shoulder at Dustin's words, giving her sister a sympathetic glance. Max pursed her lips, looking down at the floor shortly after.

"We don't think he's in there, do we?" Lucas questioned slowly, his eyes trailing to everyone slowly and with suspense.

"Guess we'll find out." Max shrugged.

Hey, a little help would hurt?" Steve muttered to his girlfriend who was now leaning her back against her side of the board while she was listening in on the conversation. She turned her back quickly.

"Sorry." She barely muttered before she pressed her hands against the board carefully. On a count of three, the couple dropped the board with a loud thud, everyone shading their eyes from the dust and leaves that kicked back.

"That's one way to do it." The brunette mittered as she raised her brows at Robin.

Max was right. Her drawings were right. Before them, there was in fact a stained glass door with a now fading red rose on the front. She stared at in intensely for seconds before the doorknob rattling brought her out of her thoughts.

"It's locked." Steve pursed his lips. "Should I knock, see if anybody's home?" He joked, glancing at everyone.

"No need." Everyone turned at the sound of Robin's voice echoing from behind them, only to see her holding a brick in her hand with a smirk. "I found a key." She shrugged as if it was obvious when everyone began looking at her in concern.

Once everyone stepped out of the way, Robin immediately threw the brick into the beautiful rose glass, Olivia pretending to be hurt.

"Badass." She muttered, smirking at her best friend, Robin nodding along.

After Steve opened the door from inside, the group slowly began filtering into the dark, cold, dusty house. Not to mention, spacious. Steve whistled as soon as he stepped foot into the house, Olivia wandering over to the large stair case. Olivia pulled her flashlight out of her coat pocket before readjusting her headphoned on her neck which she forgot about completely.

Lucas was first to reach the lamp beside him, testing to see whether or not the lights work, which they didn't. "Looks like someone forgot to pay their electric bill."
