Cole and Stripes spent the night in a hotel room in Israel before spending the next night in a hotel room in Turkey, making sure they were in the same hotel as Anders. The Hotel Indigo Tel Aviv – Diamond District was a glamorous hotel, the obvious choice of a supermodel. Luckily, Cole had been living off of Tori's wealth and was using it to accommodate their expenses. Demian and Cole shared the same bank account under Cole's name, Tori's money having been moved over to their shared account. Stripes had access to their joint account as well.
Cole and Stripes stood at a distance facing the skyscrapers as they watched Anders flirt with bikini-clad women near the pool. Anders spent one night in the hotel in Tel Aviv before moving on. The two rarely talked with Anders, Anders hardly noticing the two irangels following him.
After renting a room in the Diamond Hill Resort Hotel in Alanya, Turkey, Stripes joked that Anders "really likes his diamonds." Both Stripes and Cole liked the Hotel Indigo Tel Aviv – Diamond District better, but they appreciated the chance to look around the nice expensive hotels Anders had picked out. It was also nice to try out the different foods and drinks. Stripes found he really enjoyed the simit, a Turkish bagel. Cole liked the Israeli flatbread and fish, and sunflower halva from Turkey.
When they reached the capital city of Yerevan, Armenia, where Anders was heading to meet the other irangels, Cole went ahead and let Demian know they were in Armenia. They arrived at night when the city was most beautiful.
"Look over there," said Stripes, pointing at a tall, oddly shaped skyscraper building. "It's glowing green and blue. That's so cool!"
"I've seen it before," said Cole as they continued to fly above the city, lights glittering below them. "Demian had me come over here to teleport a suicidal human and turn him into an irangel. He was on top of that building."
"Anders is flying directly for that building," Stripes said in surprise.
Cole saw it was true. As they picked up speed, Stripes continued to look around in wonder. Such an amazing view, he thought. The view below was breathtakingly stunning and beautiful. All the irangels shared a certain fascination with skyscrapers and cityscapes, admiring the way the city looked, especially at night.
As Cole and Stripes followed Anders, descending near the front entrance so they could get inside the building, they noticed security guards standing outside. They were wearing dark sunglasses even though it was night. Anders landed in a model pose, his large purple wings spread out behind him, its shimmer reflecting off the building's light. He waved to the guards, saying, "Anders Junstrer from Sweden. I'm here for Cydtin Mikasian."
The guards didn't say anything but just stood there and let him through without so much as a nod. Cole and Stripes thought that was odd. When they approached the guards, Cole said, "We're Cole Matthews and Stripes Carven from Germany, also here for Cydtin Mikasian."
As they were allowed in, Stripes got closer to Cole and whispered, "Who is Cydtin Mikasian? I know he's an irangel, but I've never seen him before."
"Demian was the one who turned him," Cole replied. "I was the one who gave the agree. Cydtin was getting ready to jump off this very building when Demian knocked him out and had me come over."
Stripes' eyes widened. "So you guys saved his life?"
"We saved every irangel's life," Cole eluciated.
