Chapter 2- How did you get here?

Remedy was cleansing her home of negative energies. She had felt the need to do a full cleanse of her home for a while and had just gotten the motivation to do so. She had just had her tenant moved out. It was definitely time to rid the home of the left over negativity. As she was lighting her sage stick she had decided to play some music to keep herself levelheaded and she put on her playlist that matched her intentions of cleansing the space she called home. She set her lighter in her pocket thanking her gods that the dress she was wearing had pockets for once. She started in her bedroom and worked her way around her home. The sounds of her melodic voice, and her music filling her home. As she walked in through her home her mind began to wander. She was waving  the sage stick around thinking about the girl of her dreams, someone fierce, protective, kind, loving, a smile that would make her melt. She shook her head clearing the thoughts, that wasn't likely to happen anytime soon. She continued through the kitchen having to do a double take as she thought she saw something, must just be Eris playing tricks on her. She had turned her back to the living room to tell her smart device to skip to the next song. The song according you you came through the speakers, funny she didn't remember downloading this song. Remedy had never heard this song before but she felt as if she already knew the words. She began to sing along. "According to you... I'm stupid I'm useless. I can't do anything right..." she sang out wondering why she felt these words in her core.  She spun in a circle content" I'm a mess in a dress can't show up on time. Even if it would save my life According to you. According to you"    She stopped her movements upon hearing a throat clear, before her stood a tall red clad demoness, she was tall, taller than Remedy "how did you get in here..." Remedy timidly asked  peering up at the doe demon "it appears your song summoned me..." Her voice was like a melody, enchanting "Everything is opposite. I don't feel like stopping it so baby tell me what I've got to lose..." She blinked not wanting to stare as the demoness extended a clawed hand to her to shake as the song continued in the background "Annabelle σκιά, Witch demon, at your service." Remedy gently took the hand and shook it "Rem... or Remedy, human witch, at your service" she quickly but politely removed her hand from the clawed grasp of the woman in-front of her. She watched as the demoness looked around her home from her spot in the living room "So Remedy... what made you summon me?" Rem blinked owlishly "I suppose I summoned you by accident... I was thinking how I wanted someone to see me for me and how I wanted a love like Gomez and morticia... or just someone to see me for me." Saying it out loud made Remedy feel foolish, she just met this demon, what the heaven was wrong with her?  Was it hot in here? Oh gods Remedy was blushing wasn't she? The demon nodded a small chuckle escaping her cherry red lips causing Remedy to stare "you mean some see you as something other than the completely stunning woman you are? Hard to believe." Remedy squeaked in surprise her blush darkening 'agsisgjsvs' was all she could think but what she said sounded just as intelligent"I... What?" "I apologize did I overstep? I can behave or go if you'd like?" "No! ... no... you can stay for a while. I'd like to know you." 'Smooth Remedy, real smooth' Remedy mentally scolded herself what if this demon was a serial killer??? But maybe just maybe the my could be friends or more! Perhaps they would fall in love and have a love like what she longed for! "I can only stay within these walls then... unless you fully summon me, I only recommend doing that if you're in grave need of my assistance. Being in the mortal realm for a time is fine though I will have to return to hell every now and then." Remedy nodded this sounded fair... wait how is she supposed to summon her? "Alright... how do I properly summon you if I need you?" She watched as Annabelle snapped her fingers summoning what looked like a business card appeared in front of her face. In blood red ink read "𝙷𝚘𝚠 𝚃𝚘 𝚂𝚞𝚖𝚖𝚘𝚗 𝚃𝚑𝚎 𝚆𝚒𝚝𝚌𝚑 𝙳𝚎𝚖𝚘𝚗𝚎𝚜𝚜" then on the back it gave two steps two summon her. Remedy pocketed the card "Alright. Thank you... that's surprisingly straightforward.... what do we do now?" Gods why was she so awkward?!  "We could sit somewhere and just talk if you'd like? "Talk, get to know one another... strike a deal... whatever you'd like to do. But I want to know everything and I'll share whatever you'd like to know." Remedy nodded excitedly smiling brightly watching the demons eyes widen as the light caught the lip piercings on remedy's face. Remedy was already smitten by the demon but decided to try to contain her feelings for now. "Maybe save making a deal for later. Let's go talk and get to know one another, I could use more friends."  "lead the way Chérie."  Rem didn't think much of the pet name, maybe the demon was just being friendly as they walked over to the couch to talk. They sat in the living room and talked for hours about the small things both nervous to press for deeper topic, Remedy offered Annabelle the couch for the night and explained after seeing the demons confused face that they were friends and since she summoned her it was only polite to give Annabelle a place to stay, she also went on to explain that she would just like to have the capability to talk to and see Annabelle as much as possible and that the couch was best so that she did not have to summon Annabelle every time they wanted to talk. She bid good night to the demoness and went to her room. As she got ready for bed and thought of the days events she could only really think of the red clad demon sleeping on her couch. Perhaps they could be more than friends someday.
