18) encounter

Lisa's Pov.

I woke up when I felt something heavy on my chest. I slowly opened my eyes and saw Jennie. her head was on my chest, while her arm was wrapped around my waist.

I remembered that I was so tired last night, that I fell asleep while we were talking. I caressed her hair while smiling, I really love the feeling when I'm with her. after a few minutes she moved and looked at me with a smile.

"Good morning!! Did I wake you up?" I asked her. she smiled at me and she pressed her head on the crook of my neck.

"good morning." she replied.

"Sorry if I fell asleep while we were talking last night, I was really tired." I explain.

She got up from lying down and smiled at me. My eyes widened as she kissed me quickly on the lips.

" it's ok. !!! do you want to go to the restaurant with me.?" she asked.

I try to compose myself not to show her that I'm affected with what she did. "I would love to." I reply.

"ok .so we need to get ready, we're leaving .." she responded enthusiastically before she got up and went to the bathroom.

Am i dreaming? As far as i remember, i just fall asleep last night . When I woke up her behavior was different. It seems like, it was just yesterday that she treated me coldly. And now she's acting like a clingy wife. Stop thinking Lisa, just enjoy the good treatment she has for you.  My thoughts.

I got up from lying down and sat on the bed. I looked at my clothes and smiled. I know this is my old shirt and sweatpants.  I remember jennie love to wear  this clothes, when we were still together before. and I'm so happy that she still has this until now.

After showering, breakfast prepared by Jennie is ready. we ate together, and then we decided to leave to her restaurant.

I am so proud of her, I know that my wife is a good cook. that's why I knew that already that she would be successful .

After we passed by a store to buy clothes for me, we immediately went to her restaurant. While I was driving, I was still confused with what was happening. I mean,  i'm confused in a good way. because of my wife's actions.

"lisa can you take me out on a date later." she broke the silence.

I smiled. "now ,you're asking me to date you, huh." I said teasingly, she rolled her eyes that made me chuckle.

"If you don't want it, then don't." she replied while crossing her arms,  I giggled.

"I'm just teasing you, baby. Don't be upset, I'm really going to ask you on a dinner date later. But i can do anything because you already ask me." I said softly.

Even though I was focused on driving, I saw in my peripheral vision that she is blushing.

We arrived in front of a simple restaurant named Kim's kitchen.
I turned off the engine of my car and was about to go out , to open the door for Jennie .  Suddenly  someone called my phone.

It's Jisoo . Jennie smiled at me. "Answer that, it might be important, I'll be there first, just follow." she said softly I just nodded.

She went out  and I immediately answered Jisoo.

Jisoo said calmly, I breathed a sigh of relief because the tone of her voice . She didn't seem like she called for a problem.

Me. Jisoo, why did you get called.?
