Chapter 3

Shadow was heading to his house but groaned when he could still hear the footsteps of the azure hedgehog from behind "why are you following me faker?" Shadow finally asked getting the attention of the hero, sonic didn't know he was following shadow the whole time he was just doing it unconsciously because of all those times amy would drag him around everywhere on their so-called 'dates' "huh- oh my bad" sonic said as they stopped at the ebonys home stars already filling the sky "-actually can I stay with you for tonight" the azure hedgehog asked as shadow unlocked his door "why?" Shadow asked giving sonic a look

"Just because," sonic said looking away from shadow's gaze the ebony just raised a brow and leaned against the door frame this time glaring at sonic he didn't have time for his nonsense "its- just.." sonic said not knowing how to put it in a way to not anger the ebony "spit it out faker" shadow said clearly annoyed "i- actually had a date with amy today" sonic mumbled averting eye contact with the ebony shadow just groaned "yeah no" shadow said flatly about to close his door "please I'm desperate" sonic said quickly before the ebony could close the door "no, I'd prefer if I didn't have to deal with you or rose," shadow said and slammed the door in the azure ones face.

'Now how will I come up with an excuse this time?' sonic thought as he started to walk home as slowly as possible he knew any would be at his house trying to break down the door he didn't want to deal with the pink hedgehog's hammer again, he sighed at the thought of this

'Maybe I could just tell her I lost track of time when I was fighting with shadow, I mean it isn't a complete lie but she'll probably still beat me u-" as sonic was thinking a glass box fell on top of him followed with the sound of someone laughing "hohoho, I've got you now you blue rat" a voice said from above sonic "Eggman!" sonic yelled as he started to spin dash the box repeatedly "it's no use, you can't escape now" Eggman said and started laughing again as he pressed a button In his eggmobile

Releasing gas into the box causing sonic to start coughing his eyes turning red and watering collapsing on the ground the last thing he heard before passing out was the laugh of the egg-shaped man.

Sonic woke up his ears ringing and his eyes burned he felt weak as he was being dragged by his arm along the cold floor the grip was strong he looked up to see a blue hedgehog-shaped robot with blood-red eyes following behind an egg-shaped man

They stopped at a door as Eggman entered a code into the door it beeped and slid open closing once they entered

Sonic was trying to escape but he had no control of his arms or legs they couldn't move .he was then strapped to an operating table holding down his torso legs and arms Eggman started looking at the small surgery tools on a small table not too far away

He picked up a scalpel and started to cut into sonics side causing the blue hedgehog to start yelling in pain clenching his fists his palms bleeding through his gloves while Eggman was removing a chunk of flesh then shoved a tube in using bandages to hold it in place the tube leads to a tank as it slowly started to fill up with a ruby red liquid his. His peach muzzle turning pale his emerald green eyes losing some color.

After a few minutes of this, the tank was half full, and sonic was losing consciousness from the loss of blood

Next morning

Amy was knocking on the door that sonic and his brother tails shared a small yellow kit opening the door "hey Amy" tails said as he noticed how frustrated the pink hedgehog in front of him was she was holding her piko piko hammer and her phone in the other hand "where's sonic!" Amy yelled getting to the point "amy calm down sonics not here, what's wrong?" tails asked amy just handed tails bet phone with a picture of sonic feeding shadow cake "we were supposed to go on a date but he doesn't show up and the next morning I see this!" Amy said clenching her hammer tighter ready to bash sonics head in

"Well I'm sorry Amy, but sonic didn't come home last night so I don't know where he is," tail said still looking at the picture a bit shocked he's never seen his brother like this to anyone, especially shadow

"Since he isn't here I have another idea where he is," any said stomping off to shadows home "wait Amy!" tails said quickly chasing after the angry pink hedgehog

Amy banged on shadows door annoying the dark hedgehog who was making a cup of coffee he tried to ignore it but after it kept going on for a solid 2 minutes he groaned and opened the door to be met with amy and tails "what do you want" shadow growled "where's sonic! I know he's here!" amy growled back "why would I let that faker in my house" shadow said crossing his arms "well do you know where he is at least, he didn't come home last night and we think you might know" tails said putting his hand on Amy's shoulder trying to calm her down

"He didn't go home?" shadow muttered uncrossing his arms "yes, I'm starting to get worried about him" the small kit said lowering his ears shadow was also a bit worried about the blue nuisance but he couldn't show that he just sighed and stepped out of his house closing the door behind him "well, what are you waiting for? Let's go find faker"
