Let me save you

Chapter 7

The azure hedgehog started to feel more relaxed making him forget about everything else Shadow's chaos energy was comforting for sonic it made him feel warm inside. Sonic started to softly purr as he slept with a small smile on his face.

The blue hedgehog's small purrs made shadow smile slightly it soothed the black hedgehog as he too started purring silently rubbing sonics hand with his thumb still healing him in the process. Shadow could hear some people whispering but he just assumed it was from just outside "should I wake him up?" a voice whispered "no leave them they look so peaceful" another one answered "yeah listen to tails he did say sonics been having trouble sleeping lately this is good for him" "well I guess now I have to fly back home but I don't think my poor wings can handle it, but I came all this way might as well get something out of it" someone whispered

Shadow's ears perked up when he heard the sound of a phone flash shadows eyes slowly opened he already had an idea who the voices belonged to and he was exactly right the four faces he didn't want to see it was knuckles, tails, amy, and rouge who had her phone out taking a picture. Shadow almost immediately stopped healing sonic and let go of his hand shadow was about to yell at rouge but sonic started to whine in his sleep all of a sudden he felt uncomfortable. His hand started to look for shadows, shadow glared at rouge as he held the blue hedgehog's hand and started healing him again rouge started laughing at the ebony since he couldn't fight her for once "you have a death wish" shadow growled "sorry handsome but I can't help it and it seems your busy so I guess I'll go" rouge said as she left the room.

"How's sonic been? I hope he wasn't too much trouble" tails asked "he's been fine" shadow said looking back at sonic, he looked healthier his skin regaining all it's color. Shadow smiled unknowingly even though he was tired from using up a lot of his energy but to him, it was worth it.

The three just stared at shadow they had never seen him smile before and at his rival was what surprised them the most "shadow-" BOOM tails said but was interrupted by an explosion "what was that!" amy said they could hear people screaming and shouting from outside, and the door bursted open "we need all of you to evacuate the building!" a doctor said "what's happening?!" tails said as he saw people running through the halls some getting trampled "it's-" the doctor was about to say but was tackled to the ground by Eggman's badnick robots then shot with an energy beam from a bee bot.

"It's Eggman we have to sonic out of here" tails said as shadow picked the azure hedgehog up out of bed "but what about all the people?!" Amy said "we'll come back for them, but right now sonic is in danger if he stays here," shadow said getting the three's attention, "you think you can get us out of here," knuckle's said as more robots started going through the halls, shadow nodded his head and chaos controlled to his house.

"Where are we?" Tails asked looking around "this is shadows house," a female voice said "rouge?" amy said to the bat that was standing in the doorway "the one and only, I hope you don't mind if I crash at your place shadow, because of the Robo-apocalypse taking place outside" rouge said putting her hand on her hip as shadow walked passed her, not acknowledging the white bat's presence and going upstairs still holding the sleeping blue hedgehog in his arms, "rude" rouge said crossing her arms "what are we waiting around for we need to stop Eggman!" knuckles said "we have to wait for shadow we can't just go out there and reveal the location of this place and put sonic at risk" tails said sounding a little worried but tried to keep calm he wanted to go and beat Eggman and save all those poor civilians too but he had to be patient.

Just then shadow came back downstairs "everyone ready" shadow said as everyone nodded their head in sync, shadow chaos controls everyone near the hospital where they're were shops and small stores the place was deserted no one in sight and all the shops where closed and windows covered "lets split up, to cover more ground" rouge said "I'll go with amy and knuckles will go with tails" she continued "what about shadow?" Tails questioned "theres somewhere else i should be, you all stay here and help the civilians, I'll take care of Eggman" shadow said in his low voice and chaos controlled away.

And without another word the team split up in their groups going to help the civilians that couldn't get to a safe location to hide. Tails was flying in the air to get a better view as knuckles ran looking around to see if there where any robots around or any hurt civilians "knuckles look!" Tails said as he pointed at something in the distance "what is it" knuckles said looking in the direction the two tailed fox pointed. When he looked he saw a familiar looking rabbit gliding through the air trying to fight a large robot with their chao, but was grabbed mid air by the robot

"Come on tails!" Knuckles said running ahead into the middle of town "Mr knuckles!" Cream said happily "chao chao!" Cheese said who was trying to fight the robot on his own "dont worry cream we'll help you" tails said as he flew in-front of the robot getting its attention as knuckles started to punch the robots legs getting it to lose balance and fall over, the grip on cream loosening letting her escape before the robot roughly hit the floor "are you okay cream" tails asked as they both flew down to the floor "im fine, thank you for saving me" cream said in her normal polite tone "chao chao!" Cheese said hugging cream tightly "its okay cheese im fine" cream said.

In the background they could hear a familiar female voice calling out to someone in the background "Cream! Cream, where are you!" The voice said getting closer "mama!"cream said running to her mother vanilla "cream are you alright" vanilla said hugging her daughter "im okay" cream said "good, dont run off again ok?" "Ok i wont mama".

amy was running through town while rouge looked down at it from a birds eye view, "did you find anything!" Amy called out to rouge after she looked around the area and couldnt find anything "luckily no, lets look somewhere else" rouge responded and flew in another direction.

They ran into a couple of badnicks here and there 
But other than that nothing else, as amy was following rouge from below she felt the ground shake slightly but rubbed it off but once the shaking got heavier she couldnt ignore it "rouge wait" amy said completely stopping in her tracks as the white bat did the same as she slowly lowered to the ground "what" she said putting her guard up glancing around at her surroundings as the shaking started to sound closer in the distance they could see a large robot coming towards them but the robot was chasing after, the chaotix? "Get out of the way!" A crocodile yelled "i cant fly anymore, this is the end!" Charmy yelled as they were starting to draw closer to the two mobians "hand in there charmy!" Espio the chameleon called out to the small bee who's wings were starting to get tired.

"Hang on I'll help!" Amy yelled summoning her hammer running head on towards the robot as the three mobians ran past her, once she got close enough she hit it directly on its leg but not enough for it to fall just yet, until rouge swooped in and kicked it hard in the face leaving a dent making the robot fall backward and the ground shake as it hit the concrete.

"Are you guys ok?" Amy asked the three mobians who were sitting on the ground watching the fight "yeah we're fine, thanks for helping us" vector said "what are you guys doing out here?" Rouge questioned "well thats kind of a long story" espio said crossing his arms "why dont you guys go back home its not safe" amy said "well thats the thing.." charmy said rubbing the back of his head "our house got destroyed" espio finished
"Well why dont you guys crash at Amys house for a bit until this is all over" rouge suggested "but what about your house?" Amy said "my house is farther away from yours, and I'd rather they mess up your house than mine" rouge said saying the last part quietly to herself "fine, do you guys know where it is?" Amy asked handing the keys to espio since he seemed like the better choice.

"Yes, and thank you" espio responded as the group stood up and ran to Amys house "i hope they dont make too big of a mess" amy sighed
