Chapter 11

Sonic was still confused and a little worried but just shrugged it off and put in one of his other movie options, tails had recommended that movie to the blue hedgehog he promised the little kit he would watch it but the blue hero was a bit skeptical about it since it was a bit mushy but now was a better time than any so he just decided to vet it over with

Sonic slid in the disk letting the movie start he sat next to the ebony who was able to settle his blush "what did you put on" shadow asked looking at the hedgehog next to him "its just something tails wanted me to watch and based on the way be described it I think you're going to enjoy this one" sonic said confidently "don't be so sure" shadow smirked.

When the movie started it wasn't all that interesting to shadow but the more it played he actually started to get interested in it, it was about how everyone is being controlled by different types of emotions or at least thats what shadow got from watching it so far when they got close to the end the girl from the movie was going to run away from home it was a little sad but shadow was too mature to get emotional over a childish thing like that. Shadow glanced over to the azure hedgehog, sonic was staring at the TV his eyes were moist and had tears at the corner of his eyes shadow thought he was seeing wrong until a small tear escaped the hero's eye "sonic are you ok?" Shadow said turning to check on the blue

"I thought tails was being dramatic, this is so saddd" sonic said sniffling shadow tried keeping his poker face but failed letting a small smirk creep across his muzzle luckily he was still able to keep in his laughter not once has he seen his 'rival' cry over something so dumb, it was kind of cute.

Shadow put his hand on the blue ones cheek and wiped away the tears with his thumb with a small soft smile making sonic blush his heart rate quickening as they're eyes locked ruby and emerald eyes lost in each other's gaze both hedgehogs finding themselves moving closer and closer until their noses touched and then...

Tails and rouge burst in starling the two poor hedgehogs "man its really coming down" tails said closing the door behind rouge "hey sonic!- and shadow?"tails said confused on why the two hedgehogs were together and then it hit him a wide smirk appearing on his face "oh~ dont mind us continue on with your little date just pretend we're not here~" rouge said in her normal flirtatious voice.

Sonic and shadow where already on opposite sides of the couch looking away from each other embarrassed 'damn they have the worst timing why couldn't they come later or stay out there for all i care' shadow thought glancing over at the other hedgehog while the two mood ruiners left the room rouge taking the guest room and tails heading to his bed both tired from the party leaving a now awkward atmosphere sonic hadn't said anything which made shadow feel a little.. sad? It was hard to admit but sonic hadn't looked at him once he was just staring at the wall facing away from the ultimate life form 'what do i do, do i say something do i not should i leave WHAT DO I DO?!' Sonic thought he was secretly panicking his heart still racing he couldn't hear shadow sigh "goodnight sonic" shadow said sonic could feel the cushion next to him shift

Sonic was going to look when he felt something touch his cheek it was shadows lips kissing him goodbye "I'll see you tomorrow" shadow said his voice soft, sonic could feel the butterflies in his stomach "shadow..?" Sonic said looking up at the dark hedgehog but all he saw was a bright flash of light leaving him alone in his living room, sonic touched his cheek now he really didn't know what to do he gripped his chest he's completely fallen for the dark agent he felt as if he could fly no words could describe how he felt at that moment.

He could hear giggling from afar "tails?" Sonic said being able to calm himself a bit "sorry sonic but i couldn't help but see..everything?" Tails said giggling like the child he was and quickly ran back into his room "tails!" Sonic yelled grabbing the closest decorative pillow from off the coach throwing it tails way but missing since tails already had a running start

Sonic yawned after he picked up the pillow and put it back in its original place and went to his room to rest he's had enough excitement for one day after everything for once he was able to fall asleep without the medicine only having beautiful dreams with him and a certain dark hedgehog.
