"The truth may hurt for a while but a lie hurts forever" - picture quotes.com

Belle.

"Looks like someone has a forbidden crush!" Sung Abigail.
I motioned my head in her direction, sensing the roasting of my cheeks. She raised her eyebrows in annoyance. "Care to explain?"
    "Explain what?"
    "Your crush"
    "I don't have one"
    "Sure you don't"
"Hey, Cow-Belle!" Interrupted Stephanie, so I turned my head in her direction. "What are we supposed to be doing?"
"Create an alternate ending for the book, film, story of your choice. Whether you liked it or not"
She sighed. "I don't want to do it Cow-Belle" I didn't wince. I'd gotten so used to it, I become resistant.
   Cow-Belle.
Stephanie and Abigail's very own nickname for me. It's the personalized version of B*tchy Belle. I personally prefer Cow-Belle. It sounds. Kinder.
"Then don't do it" I suggested. She shrugged and went back to gossip. I went back to writing the alternate ending in silence as the rest of the class ruptured their vocal chords. I didn't need to. No one listened to what I was to say. I had nothing to say.
"Turn around Cow-Belle" persuaded Abigail, turning her head to face me after having a gossip debate with Stephanie. They stuck like sizzled marshmallows.
I shook my head, "I'm fine"
This was a trick, perhaps a bucket of water to be poured on my head. I kept my head down as I resisted the temptation lurking to witness what had been behind me.
" Don't be a wuss! Turn around!" Forced Abigail and Stephanie. They held my head in a tight position as I struggled to wiggle out of their grasps. There was no getting out of this situation. "There's your mum"
Gullible. I'm gullible. Delusional. Ignorant. I truly believed her. So I turned around.

Louis.

Joey wasn't going to get a spark of creativity soon, so I leaned even further into the table. I nearly even hovered over Joey. " Don't be a wuss! Turn around!" I heard an affray behind me, so I decided to see what had occurred. By turning around. My breath hitched once I realized I was part of the affray.
I felt something brush my crotch...
I looked down. Belle's nose. She nervously looked up at me. Our cheeks hued. Mine felt unbearably heated. I hadn't even eaten spices. She stuttered uncontrollably. "D- sh- Ah. Em. I- I- I'm so sorry. I didn't mean it. I- I didn't know you were uh. There"
I took a step back to straighten myself.
    " I- Uh"
Half the eyes in the classroom stared.
    "Oh, um. It's um... Fine"
I scratched the back of my head and covered my crotch with the other, feeling vulnerability. I walked over to my desk whether Joey needed help or not. Sat behind it. On my chair. Like regular teachers do.
   What do I do now?
I didn't want to be a regular teacher, it Sounded... Boring.
I grabbed the first college ruled paper on top of a stack on my desk, pretending to grade with red ink, giving grading my full attention. In reality, I was doodling. I couldn't think straight. All my thoughts were down there. My knee was restless so I continued tapping it to the floor. Doodling was the closest I could get to concentration.
   Ding!
The bell rang. I sighed in relief, not looking up. "Can you believe what she did?! Dirty slut!" Were the words spoken as the students walked out. My eyes nearly popped out arm's reach. I feared looking up, afraid to make accidental eye contact with a student. I heard all footsteps fade away. I finally looked up to see Belle. I remained hypnotized, staring at her hazel eyes as she stood right in front of me. Our eyes locked for what felt Like a set of hours but was seconds in reality.
" Uh, oh, eh, er... Yeah?" I attempted to sound professional, but I couldn't with her. I just wanted to laugh with her, make memories. Steal a bank even. As long as it was with her.
"Is there... Anything between us?" She asked, attempting to sound confident, but you can still hear the miniature quiver in her tone.
Yes, yes there is something between us! I'm glad you feel it too! Now we can be together. I love you. Only you.
    But I didn't say that.
There was a border between us. The student - teacher border. One neither of us could cross. That is, unless we're rebels. I shifted uneasily in my seat.
    One second.
    2 seconds.
"No" Her face fell. "Yes" This is killing me, torturing me slowly, painfully. I can't do this to her, how can I possibly do this to her? To myself?! "You're my favorite student"
    "Oh"
    "Yup. My preferred one"
Belle faked a beaming grin which fell fast. She took it as a goodbye. My Beautiful. Beautiful. Belle. She started walking away from me. "Ah, Belle!"
Her saddened figure turned my way. I'm so sorry Belle. "Are you still auditioning?" I cringed at how anxious- How desperate I sounded.
She sighed contently and nodded urgently.
I breathed out a chuckled. " Brilliant! See you there!"
Belle nodded back at me before walking out. I didn't want Belle to leave. My sight. My class. My life. She would leave soon. I'd only have this year with her. Then she'd leave me behind. Like any other student. They just... Forget.
