6. Who you are

Vegas's POV :

Andddd i was right as hell. The college fest is nothing but a bunch of lonely people trying to get some adrenaline rush by exaggerating and over laughing at everything when in reality there's no point of doing anything,
in life.

I was better at home.

But nevermind, I'm here for only one person and that's Pete. It's been 3 days since Pete and I have been getting to know each other while having fun conversations.

We don't meet a lot cause as final year students we're really busy and have different schedules cause of different majors but we do see each other at least once a day, ofcourse in the cafeteria.

And weird thing i just realised, we haven't even exchanged our contact numbers. How am I supposed to find him now?

Ok 10 minutes passed this is getting suffocating. I miss my cat now.

I keep walking where the way takes me while looking up for signs of where the band performances are being held when suddenly someone grabs my shoulder and i turn around to see...

"Vegas, you came!" A big smile which turns his eyes into crescent shape is how Pete greets me.

"I had to show my sincerity." I say and he smiles wider if possible. Damn he looks extra beautiful today as he's dressed in a purple colored silk shirt, showing off his wide shoulders, and white colored pants. His forehead is showing unlike his usual hairstyle. Not to mention the permanent glow on his face makes me want to squish his cheeks.

"I can already sense the sincerity with all the subtle pastel going on in your outfit. Looking hot." He speaks it so casually that i even my thoughts start stuttering.

"I-uh- thank you" i say while breaking eye contact with him. "Ooh i didn't know the forever confident Vegas gets shy too" he says while sliding his hand around my shoulders. It's you who's making me shy idiot.

"Let's go man my performance is going to start soon. Grab some snacks if you want to" he says while we start walking towards the arena.

"No thanks the snack is walking with me" i slide the comment which makes him purse his lips trying to hide his smile. "You're make me go crazy so easily" he says. Again the casual killer comment.

We reach at the open stage and he shows me a seat he reserved in the front row and then he leaves for the backstage.

10 to 15 minutes the seats fill up fully with mostly fan girls holding signs like"marry me" "i love you". i didn't know they were this popular. Then the performance starts.

The first song was "Love again" by baekhyun. It was a soft song which was perfect for the autumn night.

Pete's vocals were so soft and perfect and i didn't know he could sing in Korean wow.

When the chorus comes he looks at me and i, ofcourse can't even see anyone else at this point.

The performance ends with a lot of claps and cheers from the audience. Then they sing the next song which was an original song named "Who you are"

It's an upbeat song where the lyrics went like "Don't care who you are
Don't care about our past
All i want is to freeze this moment to make it last

Forever with youuuu....
Every morning my sun beside me
And at night I'll be your moon...."

All throughout the chorus Pete looked at me again.

Everyone was singing along the song from the second chorus and the lyrics were visible on the screen behind the band. And then the performance ended with louder claps and hooting and maybe someone fainted idk I'm IMPRESSED.
