9. A/gain

Author's POV :

A whole 2 months have passed after Pete and Vegas last met. It was January and it was the start of a new semester, a new beginning and the last semester for them after which they'd graduate if they successfully passed all the classes.

Pete's POV :

Last semester finally!! As i enter the campus i can see a lot of new faces, nervous, excited, full of life and some full of fear and i can also see, two monkey faced idiots waiting for me with huge grins on their faces right in front of my department building.

Those monkey faces obviously belonged to my best friend Porsche and his boyfriend of 1 month kinn.

Yeah, so after the party last semester where i abandoned porsche, u didn't actually abandon him. Infact he was so happy to be abandoned that he decided to sleep at the place with a guy he barely knows and guess who was the (un)lucky guy?

Ofcourse Arm, jk, it was kinn. So after fooling around like the idiots they are, they finally decided to become idiots in love.

And are now going strong since a month. Which partially makes me jealous and partially makes me wanna puke.

"Heyyy peteee!!" Porsche screams out of happiness and waves his hand while kinn too waves his hand, his other arm around porsche's waist. Fuck couples.

"Hey kinn!! Looking good on the first day of semester ready to make people fall for you!!! Hey Porsche!! You look sick? Did kinn not let you sleep all night hahahaaa!!" I said while laughing and earning a smack or two from Porsche while kinn blushed. Lmao this guy gets shy so easily.

Not like i lied though.

"Shut up and worry about yourself and your single ass!!" Porsche says "it's the last semester Pete when will you show us some action??" He continues as we walk inside the
Building on our way to our classes.

"Yes pete he's right, why don't you date, even if it's just to blow some steam off" kinn adds and Porsche gives him a side eye which almost scares kinn and i scoff a little.

"Yeah you're both right but right now I'm not at all in the mood for Love. It's not something I want to pursue rn. And seeing you both makes my heart full." I say making them both smile at each other with lovey dovey eyes.

It was so easy to turn around the topic when talking to them. I just gotta talk about their relationship and next thing you see is them eye fucking each other.

I don't exactly like it but it does save me from answering their ridiculous questions as they both know, that i haven't really moved on from him.

We three reach the bulletin board to check our respective classes and turns out all of us are in different classes. So we part ways.

I walk towards my first lecture which was of the subject branding and imaging. Upon entering the classroom i saw only a few students seated up and went straight to the last row as usual.

After 5 minutes of scrolling through my phone the class started. The professor introduced himself and then explained about the subject.

Ofcourse i dozed off a couple of times but managed to be awake again. The class ended and now we got some projects to do in pairs for which the professor was calling out names cause he paired us up already and also that would mark as attendance.

"Rick and Morty", "Robin and Ted", "Pete and Vegas", wait.....did i hear it correctly???

The sleep that was left in my eyes disappeared as i heard his name intertwined with mine and i start looking everywhere in the classroom to see if i heard the name right.

And there he was, sitting in the second row, looking back at me with his eyes bulged filtered by the glasses sitting on his nose.

We both stare at each other while not realising that everyone bowed to the professor and he went outside and also 90% of the class emptied too.

A sudden snap of fingers in front of my face bring me back to my reality as my eyes follow the hand to see who it belongs to.

The fingers belonged to my bestie Porsche who I'm generally happy seeing but today it annoyed me.

"Hey Pete what you looking at? The class is almost empty and my next class is going to start- Heyyy pete!!!" He spoke and stopped mid sentence as i got up and ran out of the class, behind the boy who was just partnered up with me as he walked out when i got distracted by Porsche.

I walked real fast in the corridors and took a right turn to see him walking while carrying his bag and speed-walking somewhere.

Too slow he was for me as i sprinted and stopped him in his tracks by pulling him by his shoulders.

"Vegas!!" I spoke while breathing deeply as the sprinting caused me to pant. He turned around like a child who was caught stealing some candy and smiled awkwardly while saying "hi, pete".

I don't smile as I'm still trying to recover my breathe while his face made me breathless again...
