Part 3-The Old Friend

Vander: "Everyone alright?" he asks walking down the last few steps.

Mylo: "Never better."

Vander: "Good." he chimes. "I don't suppose you can explain why I'm hearing about an explosion and a foot chase topside? Four children fleeing the scene." he describes tapping the couch. "What the hell were you thinking?"

Vi: "That we can handle a real job."

Vander: "A real job?"

Vi: "We got a tip, planned a route, nobody even saw."

Vander: "You blew up a building."

Vi: "That wasn't-"

Vander: "Did you even stop to think about what could have happened to you? Eh? To them?" he barks. "

The rest of the kids look away embarrassed. Claggor covers his black eye. Vi was about to talk back but couldn't, processing what he said. Vander sighs.

Vander: "Where did you even get this tip?" he interrogates.

Powder: "We just heard it at Benzo's shop."

Vander: "From?"

Powder: "Little Man." she barely squeaks out.

Vi gets up.

Vi: "I took us there. If you wanna be mad, be mad at me. But you're the one who always says we have to earn our place in this world." she comments.

Vander: "I also told you time and time again, the Northside's off-limits. We stay out of Piltover's business!" he replies.

Vi: "Why?" she begins. "They've got plenty, while we're down here scraping together coins. When did you get so comfortable living in someone else's shadow?" she snaps.

The room goes quiet. Everyone just heard what Vi had said, knowing that Vander didn't take that likely.

Vander: "Everyone out." he murmurs.

Claggor, Powder, and Mylo leave the room awkwardly while Vi stays, holding eye contact with Vander. They open the creaky door and let it close. They wait outside while the other two speak.

Mylo: "Annnnnd Vi's dead."

Powder: "Shut up Mylo!"

Mylo: "What? You heard what Vi said. Plus, it's not like we're gonna get off easy too."

Claggor: "Guys," he says.

Powder: "Well maybe if you stopped fooling around with that damn nose hair trimmer, we could've been out easier."

Claggor: "Guys,"

Mylo: "Oh cry me a river you little sh-"

Claggor: "Guys!" he shouts at them.

Mylo and Powder: "What!?" they respond in annoyance.

Claggor: "Isn't that the same person watching us at the elevator?" he says discretely pointing at the window.

Powder and Mylo both look in the direction he's looking. They both see the person in the dark cloak but then avoids the window noticing them.

Mylo: "It's probably just some drunkard." he says.

Powder: "No, they were near the elevator, hiding."

The cloaked person then walks into the bar and looks around before directing its head immediately at the three. The three are startled at the movement. The person walks toward the three and they don't know what to do. Just then, Vander walks out with a sack and sees the person staring at the three, and then at Vander.
