Hi, it's me, the author. Uhhhhhhhhhhh, this was the ending I made in 2022. Since season 2 is out, I made another chapter that will lead into that, so if you want to see a silly little happy ending, then you can read this one. But the other one will be like this one up until the next Vi and Sevika fight, so I recommend reading that one first. Yippee!

The dead kid goes completely limp, his eyes having to be forcefully closed by Jayce. Jayce looks down in regret, how could he not? He just killed a child.

Vi: "You didn't have a choice. He knew what he was signing up for."

Jayce: "We're done here." He says getting back to his feet.

Y/N: "Done?"

Vi: "We haven't even scratched the surface. Silco's still out there."

Y/N: "She's right. As much as I wish it could be over, Silco needs to face justice."

Jayce: "Do you not understand? I'm part of this now! The next parents who gets a message their kid isn't coming home...I don't even know where to take it. Do we just leave them here?"

Y/N: "WAKE UP JAYCE!" You yell at him. "Silco doesn't give a fuck who, or how many die for his cause! We've seen firsthand the lengths he's willing to go!"

Vi: "You've always been a part of this. You just never had to look at in the eye. One dead kid? There's hundreds more where he came from thanks to Silco, and thanks to people like you who stuck their heads in the dirt."

Jayce shakes his head in disappointment.

Jayce: "This is over."

Y/N: "Not for us."

Vi slightly tenses up as if she was about to get into one more fight.

Jayce: "Take them off." He says reaching for his hammer.

Vi: "Make us."

Vi slowly charges up the gauntlets and you ready the hex claw. Jayce powers up the Hammer and picks it up.

Jayce: "I can't let you leave with those."

Y/N: "Jayce, you can't stop us. If you're going to quit now, fine. But we still need to settle the score with Silco."

Vi then puts a small guard up and you slowly walk up to Jayce.

Jayce: "Just, go home Jayce." You tell him quietly.

The way you said that to him shook him. He powered down his hammer and walked away. You both look at the defeated Jayce who walks away, not wanting to harm any more people.

Jayce: "You two won't make it alone." He says before walking out of sight.

Vi walks over the dead kid's corpse and looks at the shimmer tanks. You see what she's about to do and look at you for approval. Not that she was gonna do it anyway, but you still nodded your head. She then walks up to the tank and punches it with everything she has. The glass shatters.

*Timeskip*

Silco somberly looks at the destroyed shimmer tank, followed by a woman who mourns her son, Sevika, and a few goons.

Sevika: "Been a while since topside's got this bold."

Silco: "Say what you want about the late Sheriff. He had his uses."

Sevika: "Too bad Jinx didn't think so."

Silco runs his hands gently through to the broken glass.

Silco: "We'll buy another."

Renni: "You gonna do anything about that piece of shit that murdered my boy!?" She complains. "Let me guess, 'Jinx will take care of it.' Just like she's been taking care of everything else."
