Part 6-The Reckoning of all that you've known

You go further into the room to see Powder. She's sobbing into her hands and somewhat screaming. 

Y/N: "Powder, are you okay?" you say trying to calm her down.

Powder looks up at you with her eyes as red as wine, drowned in all of her tears. She's clearly upset that she didn't get to go with the rest, but you still wanted to hear what she had to say. 

Y/N: "Listen, you don't have to tell me now, but whatever's bothering you, I need to know."

Powder: "Vi said I wasn't ready." she mutters. 

Y/N: "I'm sorry?" you ask.

Powder: "VI SAID I WASN'T READY!" She screams. 

She grabs one of her monkey bombs and desperately tries to rip its head off with her tiny hands. She's unable to do it and throws the monkey in your direction in frustration. You manage to dodge just in time.

Y/N: "Powder stop!" you cry.

Powder gives a loud shriek, picks up a large duffle bag, and prepares to smash it on the ground. Without thinking y, you run up to her, take the duffle bag, and get eye level with her.

Y/N: "Powder, please it's okay!"

 She looks back in your eyes and leaps onto you, holding you for safety. She sobs into your chest and you only hug her back, lightly stroking her head. 

Y/N: "It's gonna be ok, Powder." you gently say. "Vi will come back with Vander, and everything will go back to normal."

Powder: "What if they don't," she cries.

Y/N: "They will." you try to reassure. 

 While hugging her, the duffle bag falls to the floor, spilling the blue crystals that were from the building. Powder turns around to look at them. The crystals intensely glow upon impact with the ground. They create a noise that sounds mystic and thriving. You look where Powder's looking and you see the crystals vibrate on the ground, looking as if something was trying to escape from the inside. 

Y/N: (What the hell are those things?) you think in slight fear.

Powder: "We can help them..." she says coming up with an idea. 

Scene Change

Vi, Claggor, and Mylo all slide down a roof in the night. They look through a broken window that leads to the factory inside, where Vander is being kept. 

Vi: "Let's get Vander and get out." she says.

Vi climbs through the window, scales down a pipe, and eventually jumps onto the ground. Claggor and Mylo follow suit. They frantically sneak throughout the factory, looking for their father. Vi looks around a railing to see Vander strapped to a chair, bloody, beaten, and exhausted. They quickly crouch-run their way to the room and once they arrive, Vander weakly lifts his head spitting blood.

Vander: "Vi." he says in disbelief.

Vi immediately runs up and hugs Vander, glad he's still alive.  

Vander: "What are you doing here?"

Vi grabs the back of Vander's neck,

Vi: "We're breaking you out."

She looks at Vander for a bit longer before turning to Mylo and telling him to pick the locks on Vander's wrist and ankles. 

Vander: "H-How did you get in? There's guards everywhere."

Vi: "It was easy. We found an open window and..." Vi immediately realizes the worst. It was a trap. 

Vander: "Oh, god." he gasps in realization. "You have to get out. Now." he urges, but it's too late.
