"Sherly... I... I think... I think this is my second life... " William started, his eyes and the tone of his voice were filled with seriousness and firmness.

Third Person's P. O. V :

After hearing what William said, the whole room suddenly became silent. Neither of them uttered a word to break down the chilly quietness. William looked at Sherlock in both anxiousness and nervousness, he wanted to know what the boy thought and if he would tell him that he, William, have gone mad or something but, he didn't. Sherlock did not say anything making William even more anxious.

On the other hand, Sherlock was having an internal crisis inside his mind. He knew William's memories were coming back to him but, to think that the outcome of it would make William like this, depressed and struggling to cope up with the realization that he is living his second life while slowly discovering that he was once a criminal who took severals lives just for the sake of his goal. It's taking a huge toll on the boy that it's slowly affecting his daily life. No wonder William wasn't happy these days and was completely distant with all of them even to him and his brothers.

Sherlock looked at William who had an anxious and gloomy look in his ruby eyes. Sherlock took a deep breathe then, looked at William straight in the eyes.

"Liam...." He softly called.

"Sherly..... Do you... Believe me?" William said in a low and sorrowful tone.

Sherlock didn't say anything instead he nodded his head in agreement.

"I know you... You wouldn't say such things for now reason..." Sherlock said then, gave William a soft smile.

William felt warm seeing that dazzling smile on Sherlock's face and smiled back. Of course, Sherlock would believe him, why did he even doubt him? They shared a bond unlike anyone else did, they formed a very special bond with one another in which they care, look after, understand and support each other, they're soulmates, they're each other's halves.

"Really?" William said almost crying again.

"Really." Sherlock said with a smile and nod.

"Thank you Sherly..." William said with a smile filled with happiness towards Sherlock.

"Liam... Between you and me... There's no need for such things like Sorry and Thank you... Like I said... I'll always be right here for you... No matter what..." Sherlock sincerely said with fond smile on his face while his eyes were filled with endless infatuation for one beside him.

( A/N 📝 : Just to clarify things, I got that line from Mo Dao Zu Shi. I think it was Lan Zhan who said it to Wei Ying that there's no need between them to say Sorry and Thank you. I can't remember it well but, I know it's from MDZS. )

"I really am lucky that I got to meet you, Sherly..." William said with a smile filled with fondness towards Sherlock.

"I think it should be the other way around." Sherlock said with a chuckle.

Well it was true, if William never bothered him the past, he would mostly be in his room doing experiments and getting minimal jobs from the Scotland Yard while, solving mundane mysteries each day. Although he didn't liked how William was controlling him and making him a puppet in their previous lives, he enjoyed the thrill and the sheer excitement whenever William left him a complex mystery to solve making his everyday boring life filled with annoyance, excitement and thrill. Maybe also because of this, he and William were able to connect to one another and formed a bond with each other that transcended throught time itself. The very proof of that was how both the Moriarty and Holmes clans fromed an alliance with one another through the years especially when he found out that their life long friendship started during the reign of Queen Victoria and when he and William both died.
