Chapter 02 : Meeting an Old Friend

William James Moriarty P. O. V :

Today, me and my brothers along with our Parents are going to visit the Holmes Family. Mother and Father said that they are our Family's closest family friend. Both our Families have always been helping one another out and doing businesses with one another. I don't know but, the moment they said the word "Holmes".... I don't know why but.... I suddenly felt... Sad, happy, excited and .... Longing... But why? I didn't understand why I felt such emotions at that time... Maybe it was nothing...

We were riding our Family's limosine with our Family's crest on front of the car and some small flags on the side of front. Jack - san was our driver, he's been working for our family for the longest time now, he started when Father was still young. Meanwhile, Moran - san was our family bodyguard who was riding his motorcycle outside alongside Bond - san to make sure we don't get assassinated.

I was sitting in the back seat with Al - nii, who was rocking Louis to sleep in his arms, Mother and Father on the other hand, who were on the side sitting next to each other, we're discussing something with some of their clients on the phone, luckily, they weren't so loud to wake Louis up from his nap. I was reading a book about a detective while, listening to Al - nii's singing to lull Louis into taking a nap.

"Sleep now, Louis." Al - nii said after finally making Louis fall asleep then, kissed his forehead with a smile.

Then, he turn his head towards me while, still rocking Louis from side to side.

"You aren't sleepy, Will?" He asked with his gentle smile that both me and Louis loves the most about him.

"No, Nii - san. But thank you anyway, I just want to finish this book I'm reading." I said to him with a smile. He nodded his head in approval

"Alright then. What's it about anyway?" He asked me again.

"It's about a detective. " I said to him while, continuing to read the book.

"A detective?" He mumbled.

"Yeah. " I said not straying my eyes away from the story. It's quite good actually.

"Ok." He said with a smile then, patted my head with his left hand then, he put it back to his side to hold Louis securely on his lap from falling.

I continued to read the book. The title of the book was "Sherlock Holmes : The Final Problem", I like it. It's a nice story. It's about Detective Holmes unraveling the mysteries about his arch nemesis and exposing them to the public and letting everyone know how evil he is. But, the ending is rather sad, my favorite Detective died. I really like Detective Holmes.

After a few minutes, Mother and Father were done talking to their clients. Then, Mother turned her head towards us with a smile.

"Will." She called me in a affectionate tone.

So, I lifted my head up from the book I was reading to look at her properly. She was smiling genuinely towards me. Louis and I resemble our Mother very much meanwhile, Al - nii resembles Father a lot. I looked at her curiously while, titling my read to the side.

"Yes, Mother?" I asked.

"Will, Dear. You always wanted to have a friend, right?" She asked earnestly.

"Yes." I said before giving a small nod.

"Well... Sheila and Michael has a boy who has the same age as you. They said their second son is rather shy so, he doesn't have many friends and prefers being alone most of the time. They fear he won't have any friends to play with so, I suggested that he can play with you. If that's alright that is?" Mother said to me maintaning her gentle smile.
