Dewpaw

I open my eyes. I feel like an ice cube. I look around. Everyone is shivering. I get up and I look around the camp. Frost is everywhere. I pad towards the medicine cat den.

I pop my head through the bramble screen. I look over at Rosekit. She is awake, however her breathing is shallow. She has put alot of weight on since she was found.
"Sanddollarpelt! It's Rosekit!" I meow with worry in my voice. She grumbles and gets up. Suddenly, she realises how cold it is. She curls up next to Rosekit.
"Fetch anything warm and soft. Make sure it's not wet!" She grumbles as she falls asleep.

I speed out into the woods, searching for anything. I scrape of all the moss from every tree. I shake it, trying to get rid of the frost. I look around a fox must have killed a bird. There are feathers everywhere. I clamp it all into my mouth and I pad to the medicine cat den.

I place everything over her.  However, her breathing stops. Sanddollarpelt wakes up and tears fill her eyes quickly.
"F...fetch Fernkit." She cries.
"Why?" I meow back hoping she is ok.
"Rosekit. Rosekit is. She's dead."
Shock filles me and I slowly pad out the den.
Everything we did to save her was for nothing. Anger surges inside me. Why was Starclan cruel. I couldn't of been the kits destiny. They probably didn't even care about it. I look up at the sky; glaring at it. I don't want to go to go to a cruel place.

I  half-heartedly  pad into the elders den,.(Which is where we are keeping her for now.)
"Fernkit. Rosekit is dead." I mew sorrow filling me.
"No, she can't be!" She wails as she speeds out of the den. "Starclan wouldn't be so cruel."
