Betty's POV
I've been here now for two weeks and I've been getting bored, the only way to escape my boredom is too read. They have a huge library! I have read dozens of books these two weeks and I've learned so much about this pack from these books and this whole other world and whole other specifies! There's was something up with Jughead. Not in a bad way of course but...every time I try to do something for myself he always needs to be right next to me and looking over my shoulder and I'm grateful he does this but he doesn't have too.

As I was eating lunch I ate my sandwich as suddenly a man came in and saw me.

He told me "give this to Jughead."

I nodded and he left and I saw it was a letter, an invitation to something. It was a black envelope and it looked like a red wax seal on the back.

It read on the front 'Crescent WolfPack Alpha'

I looked around and didn't see him.

I groaned saying "it's invasion of privacy..."

But my curiosity got the best of me. I opened the seal and opened the letter as I saw a note with white lettering that read.

Jason Blossom, he left behind a mother, his father, his sister, his two children, and his beautiful wife. Please, we have informed of you of this matter to attend the funeral of our beloved Jason Blossom. Come to celebrate the life he once had and grieve with us.

I gulped and looked around and left the house. I walked around the forest as men and women stared at me. I was feeling a bit tense as I saw Jughead doing push-ups, pull ups on the tree. I thought my cheeks went red seeing his...well his shirtless self.

Woah...

I thought to myself.

I felt a bit warmer than I had liked. I gulped and walked over and he saw me.

I said "I know I'm sorry for invading your privacy but my curiosity...I just I'm sorry I opened it..."

He saw the letter and grabbed it and read it and sighed "it's fine. Okay?"

I nodded and asked "so uhh...are you going?"

He said "I cannot."

I gulped "but you were sent this your must've known him..."

He climbed a tree saying "yes I knew him, we made business deals, that was all."

I asked "are you sure? You seem angry..."

He got down and I gulped as he said "I'll go."

I smiled saying "let me go with you."

He shouted "no!"

I flinched and he said "I must...do this on my own."

I held his hand saying "no one should go alone."

I smiled and he looked at our hands.

I said "I'll be fine, I've been reading your library non stop too! I have learned maybe a lot already about this cool world! I wish...you could show it to me."
