Jugheads POV
As I wrapped Bettys hand she didn't say anything "can we please talk?"

She frowned and I said "I didn't mean to lie."

She muttered "but you did..."

I frowned and she said "when?"

I sighed and said "the day I met you..."

She frowned and said "why did you lie to me?"

I stopped wrapping her hand saying "to protect you..."

She shouted "from what!?"

I shouted "from all the people that will want to kill you! Take you away from me!"

She gulped and I said "I have been through so much shit in my life! I gave up on finding a mate for almost 600 years! All of my life I never thought I could find a mate! An imprint! Someone my wolf wants to connect with!"

She looked at me as I calmed down to say "than the day I met you...I saw you and...I couldn't bare with the fact you were human and that people might hurt you...kill you. You're not a wolf that can heal quickly then the average person. A vampire that heals instantly. Or a witch that self treats...you're a human...which means any of my enemies can kill you...and my whole life be ripped away from me and...I will be alone forever..."

She frowned and I said "so I'm sorry that you feel betrayed but I was doing it in fear of loosing the most important thing to me right now."

As I left her be I shut the door and frowned as I saw Cheryl sitting.

She saw me as I begged "please Cheryl do not say anything..."

She said "don't worry...I won't..."

I sighed in relief and said "so why are you here?"

She said "those attacks like the one on Jason I heard you got a witch here? A wolf was killed in vampire territories..."

I gulped and asked "my pack?"

She said "no...but my parents and I and the vampire kingdom are getting worried...first my brother now one of our alliances has a dead pack member...on our grounds worse to say...now a witch just randomly appears around here?"

I groaned and she said "we are holding a meeting...with all pack leaders and the Queens and Kings and whatever other royalty in the house they have is going to meet...there's a real threat out their killing our families our friends, our loved ones."

I sighed as she said "please be careful. We are all taking precaution...we can't even tell who this person is, if they're vampire, witch, wolf. They seem to be killing them...with our weaknesses...a stake to the heart was Jason. Bathed and drowned in Witch Hazel for the mystery girl and now the wolf...Silver dipped in wolfsbane..."

I said "whoever is doing this is smart not using their abilities to get caught...when is the meeting?"

She said "tomorrow, you must come. We all need to figure this out."

I nodded and she left and I sighed as Betty came out and saw me.

She asked "is everything okay?"

I nodded and she said "are you gonna be okay?"

I nodded and she smiled at me.

She walked over saying "so you imprinted on me..."

I said "I'm sorry...I just...I can't stand the thought of you being hurt because of this..."

She frowned and said "I know you're just trying to protect me. But tell me the truth...don't try to hide me and keep me secret...that might hurt us worse and more in the long run Jug..."

Bettys POV
He nodded and I smiled and hugged him. He held me and rubbed my back.

Suddenly he said "oh no..."

I was confused and suddenly he turned into his wolf and I gasped as his wolf looked at me, he whimpered and bent down laying down.

I frowned saying "it's okay Juggie...it's okay..."

He whimpered more and I stroked his head saying "I'm not mad or sad. I just...I just want you to trust me...my mom told me...she trusted this new cult like family more than me...so I just want you to know...you can trust me..."

I sniffled and said "don't be sad...it makes me sad to see a dog cry let alone a huge one with...a cute boy along with it..."

I laughed and he looked at me.

I smiled and kissed his snout and said "I want you to protect me...to make me happy."

I smiled and hugged him and suddenly moved me onto his body. I laughed and as he made a huge circle with his body and put me in the center. He laid down as he stared at me and I smiled feeling his warm fur. I laid down on him and smiled as I began closing my eyes and slowly fell asleep.

Jugheads POV
She fell asleep and I changed back from my wolf and I was naked as I held her as she slept and held my chest.

I smiled as my wolf said

'protect her'

I said "of course I will..."

I picked her up as I got her to her room. I was in my room as I put my pants on and stretched as suddenly I looked at my mirror and saw her.

She frowned and said "I don't know why but...I don't wanna be away from you..."

I smiled as my wolf wanted to come out a pounce on her but I pushed him back as she walked up to me.

I smiled saying "come on you need to get some rest alright?"

She nodded and I smiled as I got her in my bed. I got in with her as she looked at me. I smiled as both my wolf and I admired her.

She stared at me and said "so are we going to that meeting?"

I sighed and said "I can't risk people finding out about Betty."

She frowned and said "I understand but...we've tried it before, we tricked them before..."

I licked my lips as she said "come on..."

I groaned and said "fine..."

She smiled and I smiled back saying "now get some rest..."

She nodded and snuggled into me. I laughed and rubbed her back as I soon fell asleep.
