Jugheads POV
Now for the last week once again Betty has been weird...my wolf and I have tried to help this time being close, holding her in bed. Taking her on nice walks around this world...but she seems to distance herself which neither my wolf or I want anymore! Tonight...tonight I'm gonna ask her if she will be my mate...and if I can mark her...I want to love her...I want to be with her...I want to mate with her...I believe she wants this too but...maybe she's afraid.

Afraid this world won't accept her but I don't care I will fight anyone who tries to tear our happiness apart. I was getting ready with my parents and sister.

My mom said "so you're going to tell the other packs?"

I nodded and said "yeah...I'm ready. I need to, I need to protect her."

She smiled saying "I can't wait to have grandchildren!" She kissed my cheek.

I sighed as I saw Jellybean wearing a green dress as she said "so...you're finally gonna mate..."

I said "try too..."

She smiled and saw me saying "I remember when I met Ricky...even if from another pack, love at first site..."

I smiled and she did too as I frowned.

"You okay?"

She asked me and I shook my head.

"Bettys been ignoring me again...I don't know what I'm doing wrong..."

She said "I think I know why..."

I looked at her as she said "she's aging."

I looked at her and she said "Betty still has a period, I mean I do too but it's cause my wolf has one...vampires don't really and witches are the only ones who actually have it somewhat but not like humans have it...she's aging Jughead. Maybe she realized thinking about the future... she will be old and wrinkly while...you're like this forever..."

I said "no...no that's impossible! How is she aging!"

She said "we do too...we just get to stop...she's human...I'm sorry Jughead."

I gulped and said "then I'll start aging and I'll die with her."

She said "no! Mom will be crushed!"

I said "I...I am..."

I groaned and I said "I love Betty okay? I'm not gonna let go of having her now that easily. I've waited almost 700 years to find my happiness while I had to watch you find it so easily! Now the one chance I have it can be taken!? No. I'm not gonna let it happen."

I went to Betty's room and tried opening the door but it was locked.

I suddenly saw Toni as she gasped "no! We have five more minutes just wait downstairs!"

She closed the door and I sighed as I smirked and went back to my room.

I came out and my mom saw me saying "you undressed!? Forsyth Pendleton Jones the Third!!"

I said "don't worry just watch."

I turned around as I saw Betty coming down the steps in her beautiful baby pink gown as her hair was curled all around, we needed to get her a haircut but...she was so beautiful. She had beautiful necklaces on with earrings a flowers rose gold headband to keep some hair back. She saw me and smiled and I walked up to her.

"You're...you're so beautiful..."

She blushed and asked "why aren't you dressed?"

I smirked and told my parents "you guys go ahead without us."

They soon left and I grabbed her robe and got it on her.

I said "for one it's snowing...and two..."

I gave her my bag and I wolfed out. She laughed seeing me and smiled. I looked at her and she smiled and I ran out as she ran to me.

She said "fine..."

I got down and she got on me and she said "alright I'm good."

I smiled and ran. As we arrived I set her down and my wolf and I didn't go just yet.

"Come on Jug, one it's freezing and two the party..."

I stared at her and slowly got my snout on her hand.

She rubbed my nose and said "what are you doing?"

I sighed and and de-transformed and she looked away while handing me my bag.

As I got in my clothes I talked "I know why you've been ignoring me. I can smell it."

She sighed and I zipped up my pants grabbing my dress shirt.

"And Jellybean may have told me why. You are aging."

She replied "that's...exactly right. How did you know that?"

I smirked getting my shoes on "cause she smelled your period."

She gulped and said "I guess I am nervous..."

I got on my coat and tried tying my tie.

I groaned as Betty grabbed it and did it for me "the point is...I will grow old with you."

She was confused and I said "I stopped aging myself at 20. If you...if you keep aging I will age with you..."

She said "I can't ask you for that...this is your whole life."

I held her face saying "if you tell me you want to be my mate I will do anything for you to make you happy."

She frowned and said "that's what I wanted to talk about...I don't think it's a good idea for us to be mates..."

I said "no...you can't be serious?"

She frowned and said "maybe I should go home...to my world..."

I said "but you have no one!"

She sighed and said "yeah but...if I have to stay here and mate with you have your children I wouldn't want them to grow up without their mother and father...plus I've been on my own once, it won't hurt for it to happen again."

I told her "no I'm not accepting that..."

She said "you have to..."

She gulped and said "I'm sorry...but I want to stay...friends..."

Both my wolf and I whimpered as she went inside and I frowned as my wolf whined and I went in with her.
