For millenias the people.of the world have been able to bend one element: water, earth, fire, and air and based on their native element, they have formed their own civilizations. From the fire-weilding Fire Nation, the water phase-change Water Tribes of the North and the South Poles, the earth-changing Earth Kingdom, and the air-bending Air Nomads in their Air Temples. Only one being can master all four elements and bring balance to the world: the Avatar.
For one hundred years, the remaining three nations have been in a war with each other. The mighty Earth Kingdom and versatile Water Tribe against the ruthless Fire Nation. The only one to stop the Fire Nation and bring peace back to the world is the Avatar. However, shortly before the start of the war, the Avatar vanished. Until now.
Waterbender Jung Hoseok and Nonbender Kim Seokjin of the Southern Water Tribe were fishing a little ways away from their Tribe when they come across a glacier that has a girl inside. And the girl may give them their hope back.
