I have done this, yes this mistake too but we all learn from our mistakes don't we, so here I am telling you about it,
When you are writing a sentence and want to give emphasis on a particular word, try using italics on it.
It looks real good.
And please don't use bold or underline unless really necessary.
(You see what I did there? No? Okay)
Also if you are writing a conversation (on a phone) and it is not in dialogue style then still use italics.

This should only be used for dialogue style works.
