''Are you okay?'' tanong ulit ni Claire sa akin. She kept asking me, kahapon pa too.
I gave her an assured smile. ''I'm okay''
She looked at my stomach and asked, ''My niece?''
I chuckled a bit. I really appreciate Claire. Siya at si Sky lang ang meron ako. They are always there if I have problems. They are the ones who always catch me when people push me to fall from the peak to the bottom. Kung wala sila, I don't know if I can survive this cruel world.
"The baby is fine, Claire. I just need to rest," I said, chuckling a little bit
She just nodded and helped me to stand up. Kanina pa kasi kami tinatawag, kakain na daw.
The retreat was fun. Day two na namin dito sa resort. We did all the unpacking yesterday. Ngayon magsisimula ang exciting part ng retreat. This is a relaxing and fun day. We will play sport games, then tour sa loob ng retreat house where we will be staying tapos ay pahinga na.
"Miss Ma'am, what sport are you going to play?" Emphasizing the Miss Ma'am. One of my classmates sa isang subject at alam kong ayaw niya sa akin. Ayaw ko din naman sa kanya.
"She's not going to play, Miss Ma'am" Claire emphasizes the word Miss Ma'am. Nang aasar pa talaga
Trixie's eyebrow went up. I really don't know what's on Trixie, minsan talaga may saltik siya at lalapit sa akin just to compete with me.
"And why wouldn't she?"
"It's not your fucking business, bitch." Claire's coldness went into my spine, and that's when I faced Trixie, who was in my side area.
When our eyes met, she stiffened her body, like composing it for her to look more confident and higher than me. Not going to happen.
"Just go with your friends, Trixie," I said in a calm voice. I cannot be mad at all times. Kawawa baby ko.
"I'm just asking for the sports you'll p--" Iniinis niya yata talaga ako.
I breathe heavily but my sarcastic mode is now on.
"Why? Because you want to compete with me? You'll never win against me, Trixie," I said with a smirk.
She raised her eyebrows. I was amused by what I just said.
"You fancy me, Maria"
My smirk turns into a smile. I went closer to her.
"Maria, let's just go," Claire whispers because she knows that I'm not joking anymore.
"Am I? That's good. Feel that, people lower than me should feel that feeling," I said with confidence.
She clapped while laughing.
"Confident, hmm? You think you're higher than me?" she asked, pissed.
I chuckled a little bit. "Hmm. Yes?" I answered in a question version.
Her smile faded.
"You'll never win against me, Maria," she said while gritting her teeth.
Wala pa nga akong sinasabing masama at nakakainis. Inis na siya.
"I'm now the president of our University Student Council, Trixie. I'm always on top of the dean's list every fucking semester. And you're always behind me, the second, and don't forget that you are not part of the student council anymore," I emphasized the last word I said.
I can see how angry she is. She's shaking.
"You kicked m--"
"I kicked you because you didn't follow my rules. I am the president, Trixie. Everyone should follow and bow down before me." I said with all my confidence and power as a president.
