Scout walks towards the vault. he lays the briefcase inside and locks it. he walks to one of the monitors in the back of the base and turns it on. he takes a moment to look out of the window.

It's storming outside. but despite all the noise of wind and thunder, the scout could make out a faint sound of knocking on one of the backdoors.

knock, knock, knock. someone knocks three times. He walks over to the door and opens it. he is surprised to see Miss Pauling standing there. she is drenched to the bone. her clothes stick to her skin and her hair is all wet and messy.

scout: Miss Pauling? what's up?

he realizes he has been staring at her and steps aside.

He allows her to walk inside a closed the door behind him. she is shivering and rubs her arms to get some warmth.

Scout: shall I get you a blanket or something?

she only shakes her head.

miss Pauling: gather everyone scout there is something we need to discuss.

Her voice sounding both hasty with a tint of sadness but she doesn't show it off with her body language. her facial expression is a blank slate.

scout: wow calm down can't it wait? If Medic finds you like this he will scold you and say. "I really zhink you should get changed. you might catch a cold frauline." he laughs at his crapy impression of the doctor, but miss Pauling doesn't seem amused at all.

miss Pauling: now if you please, it's urgent.

She glares at him.

scout: okay, okay I will get them

And so he ran off.

after 5 short minutes, everyone had been gathered. They all take a seat in the living room, curious about the messages that the black haired girl is bringing them.

Medic: Frau Pauling. you are soaked, you should get some dry clothes if you don't want to catch a cold.

Scout: called it.

miss Pauling: Don't worry about me, doc. i am fine. Now, do you guys want the good or bad news first?

soldier: THE GOOD NEWS !!!

heavy: Ah! you don't have to shout in my ear.

Miss Pauling sights deeply before she speaks up.

miss Pauling: We made some arrangements and we managed to scrape some money together so we can pay for your plane tickets. So you don't have to pay for those yourselves.

Some of the men in the room raise an eyebrow at that. but they somehow overlook the part that stated that this company isnt doing all too well.

soldier: what? do we get a vacation?!?

miss Pauling: I wish it was. but no, not exactly soldier.

Soldier: is it a new mission?

Miss Pauling shakes her head. the men seem confused.

demoman: what do you mean las?

sniper: wait ?! what are you talking about mate?

she looked down, not wanting to make eye contact with the mercenaries.

miss Pauling: We have gone bankrupt. We had a lot of expensive expenses which had to be taken care off, before we know it we didn't have anything left. we went downhill way to fast that there was hardly anything we could do to prevent it from doing so. and Now, we can't afford new weapons, ammo, and other equipment we need to run this place.

medic: so let me get zhis straight, zhe announcer wants us to leave?

miss Pauling: yes its all over, Blutarch wins and you're fired

scout: haha very funny miss Pauling you know it's not even close to April fools day right?

scout said as a little sweatdrop rolled down from his forehead. He laughed in a nervous manner while he searched for eye contact.

Scout: m-miss Pauling?

Finally, she looks up to face the Boston boy.

miss Pauling: you can never take anything seriously, now can you? there is no other option.

she took the tickets out of her purse, handing them out to everyone.

Miss Pauling: this is all we can afford to do for you guys you need to get the rest yourself.

medic: ve can't just leave zhis place, it's our work, our home.

engineer: I'm sure we can figure something out if we just put our minds together.

Dell made his statement as calmly as he possibly could.

miss Pauling: believe me Mr. Conagher we have tried what we could. But all we did was fail, at what we thought could the solutions to our problem.

But we can't do anything. Its all gone. neither us Redmond or Mann co can do something to keep the business up and running.

spy: oh merde... please if it is a joke just stop right now.

miss Pauling: I'm terribly sorry but this is real. you're fired.

you all have until tomorrow 12 o'clock to pack your belongings.

miss Pauling tells them the last instructions about where they needed to leave their weapons and what not about the flights, stood up, said her final goodbyes to them and left.

You're fired.

Those awful words echoed through all of their minds repeatedly.

pyro: mmm hmm

Pyro his intelligible mumbles sound sad as he just stares at the dancing flames in the fireplace.

sniper: who would have thought it would have ended like this.

scout: what do we do now?...

heavy: go back to homeland.

engineer: yeah..

spy: well lets 'ave one last drink together as a goodbye, I will fetch zhe wine

demoman: hey!! don't be so sad, you can always-

He stumbled across the room but tripped and fall to the floor with a thud, knocking him unconscious.

sniper: well I guess Demo is already knocked out.
