Dell: today's the day.

he knots a tie around his neck and straightens his collar.

Dell: (Y/n) may I borrow your car?

(Y/n): sure thing.

I walk up to him and admire his new look. never have I seen engie wear a suit before. but I must say he looks damn handsome in it.

Dell: thank you, Darlin. I just hope I can impress these people. I really want the job.

he looks at himself in the mirror and fiddles with the tie. I can sense his nerves. my arms sneak around his waist as I hug him from behind.

(Y/n): Hey, don't worry. it's going to be fine. I'm sure you'll get the job. you are smart and they will like you. so there really is no need to worry about a thing.

Dell: I suppose.

he smiles as I plant a kiss on his cheek.

(Y/n): Good luck cowboy.

Dell: t-thanks.

Oh before I forget to ask, do you need something from the store? I mean i am heading in that direction anyway.

(Y/n): no I'm good. just buy yourself something nice ones you are done.

Dell: okay, will do. see you later.

Time Skip.

Dell walks up to the Electronics and CO office. he holds onto his briefcase as he walks through the central hall. he pays attention to the employees that walk around. he can tell they are experienced business people, at least that's what this cooperation needs when it comes to marketing,

administration and such. he walks towards the counter.

Secretary: Good day to you sir, how can I help you.

Dell: hello. I'm dell Conagher.

A few days ago I called regarding the position of program engineering.

I needed to hand you the interview formulary from the confirmation email.

She takes the papers from him and browses through them before she looks in the system.

Secretary: Everything seems to be in order.

She returns the papers.

Secretary: I'll let Mr. Midwell (The boss of the company) know you are here. You may take the elevator to the 9th floor. the 5th door on your left is where you need to be.

Dell: thank you very much.

He followed the instructions, eventually, he ends up before his office.

He knocked on the door.

Mr. Midwell: Come in.

Mr. Midwell: ah hello you must be Mr. Conagher.

Dell: a pleasure to meet you, sir.

Mr. Midwell: Please take a seat. So tell me something about yourself and why you would like to work here.

Dell: The reason why I want to apply for this job is that i have a passion for engineering. I do have work experience. 7 years to be precise. But that line of work was a different kind of engineering.

Mr. Midwell: I see. What company did you work for?

Dell: Red.

Mr. Midwell: Red? mh, I never heard of that before.

Dell: Reliable excavation demolition or red for short. it's an American company.

Mr. Midwell: So you have several years of experience. In what kind of engineering?

Dell: mechanical engineering.

I designed, built and repair all kind of contraptions and weapons.

Mr. Midwell: and why the sudden change from your previous job to program engineering?

Dell: Well I loved my job but they went bankrupt. they had to fire all employees.so I like to find another job that's equal to it or something that has to do with engineering. this job seems like the perfect one to fit the bill.

Mr. Midwell: that's great to hear.

Mister Midwell continued to ask Dell some questions. after 30 minutes engie stepped out of the office.

Dell: thank you so much for your time Mr. Midwell

Mr. Midwell: that's alright. Hey, I will call you on Monday. Then I let you know if you got the job or not.

Dell: alright. Goodbye

Time skip until home.

(Y/n): Hey! How did it go?

Dell: very Good.

Mr. Midwell will call me on Monday so that's when I will hear if I get the job.

(Y/n): I'm sure you'll get it. Seriously, who wouldn't want to hire you? you are the best they could get.

Dell: You think so?

(Y/n): if I was the boss of such a company, I would hire you when I saw you.

Dell: sure thing.

he chuckles.
