Where do i need to go?

Sunrise had come. neither of the team members had closed their eyes to get some well-deserved sleep, instead, they just talked and packed their stuff here and there. Others didn't say much or anything at all. Dell still couldn't help himself philosophizing about ways to help the company. but sniper told him to stop it. it would be no use, just as Miss Pauling said. There is nothing they can do.

The New Zealander lifts the hat from his face.

sniper: anyone wants some coffee?

spy, medic, and engineer slowly raised their hands, too tired and too deep in their own thoughts to utter a single word.

scout: yo grab me a bonk from the fridge if you're heading there!

sniper got up from his chair and walked to the kitchen. a moment later he returned with the coffee, bonk and a pile of sandwiches. the guys tuck in.

Engineer: do we got everything now? i can't shake the feeling we might have forgotten something.

He scratches his head. he is so far gone that he completely forgot about the Lab and the workshop.

medic tilted his head in engineers direction.

medic: Did we get everything from zhe lab und workshop packed up?

engineer: Ah that's it! how could I forget the most important things?

With that said, medic and engineer both leave the room. the doctor helps his friend clean out his workshop, later dell would help medic with his lab and operating room.

The other men were left in a room filled with nothing but silence. until heavy finally spoke again.

heavy: oh it is sad day. Is strange to me, we have to leave this place in a few hours

scout: it sure is pally.

He sighs deeply as he just lay back on the couch again staring up at the ceiling and drinking the last of his bonk

~time skip to 12 o'clock ~

engineer: everybody ready?

soldier: time to move out!!

The men grabbed hold of their suitcases and other belongings, they took one last glimpse at the rooms and headed towards the door, ones they walked outside they took some time to look at the environment.

even the sun rays and wind that blows in their faces felt frigid, this sure isn't a moment that will be erased from your memory for a long time.

soon they will part their ways and be found in a new home, job, with other colleagues, friends whole different lives.

it all would be different from now on.

sniper was so nice to drive them all to the airport in his van.

demoman: well I guess this is it then lads.

He said ones they arrive at the airport's main hall. spy clears his throat.

spy: gentlemen it was a pleasure to 'ave worked with you, maybe we will meet again someday

medic: likewise.

the medic gave everyone a casual handshake.

while pyro hugged them to death.

scout: wow pyro you're gonna break my bones if you squeeze any tighter.
I am not planning to visit medic in Germany for a few broken ribs!

He struggled to break loose from his strong grip. But ones he does so pyro scratches the back of his head.

soldier: WHAT?! why would you ever want to go there? I thought we all moved back to our country of origin. so why do most of you even need to take a plane in the first place? I thought we were all Americans!

heavy: .....

medic: v-vell I just vant to live zhere. is zhat to much to ask?

he pushed his glasses higher on the bridge of his nose to hide his nervousness

Soldier: but that's where the enemy lives!

( he is from Germany but soldier doesn't know. its a reference from the comic shadow boxers if you didn't know)

sniper: Oi, mate are you alright?

he turned towards pyro who was shaking a little. that was enough to give away that he/she was almost crying.

scout: Oh what, you gonna cry? You gonna cry now?

heavy: SCOUT! I promise you pain without end if you don't stop.

Scout: yeah. Yeah .....

He rolled his eyes.

Engineer lays a gentle hand on pyro's shoulder.

engineer: Boy, this here is just gonna keep happenin' and happenin in life.
You just need to get through this. you will Always meet new people just as that you have to let some of them go.

Medic nods in agreement.

medic: Herr Pyro. Herr Conager is right. I know zhat zhis gives a whole twist to our lives. But I'm sure everything vill be just fine hehe. zhis is a new opportunity to start all over with a fresh and brand new start.
ve only need to find a uh ... how should I say this mmh.

medic frowned

medic: urh schweinhund.
what I meant to say was zhat we just need to find a comfortable way of living a normal life again. You know, as in finding a new purpose in life.

scout: oh...

Spy looked at his watch.

spy: I don't want to interrupt zhis moment but if we want to catch our flights we could be going. au revoir everyone.

they all waved one last time to each other.

Engineers P.O.V

engineer: goodbye all. good luck with your new life's

He waves

Engineer: I'm sure going to miss them .. maybe not scouts whining, complaining and certainly not the blu's. But zhe base was a nice place to live...

I turned around with a sight. I saw a nearby information board

Engineer: so I need to be there in 5 MINUTES!! aw hell, I got to hurry!!

I ran as fast as I could but lucky for me I got there just in time. Now all I need to do for now, is relax and enjoy the flight
