Red reunion

Dell's phone rings. he is currently in the garage, fiddling with something mechanical.

(Y/n): hello.

Mr. Midwell: hello miss. Your speaking with Mr. Midwell from electronics and CO. can I speak Mr. Conagher, please.

(Y/n): sure. I'll go get him.

I knocked on the garage door before i walked in.

(Y/n): Dell, its Mr. Midwell for you.

Dell: Oh, right.

I handed the phone to him.

Dell: Good morning Mr. Midwell

Mr. Midwell: hello Mr. Conagher. I have decided to hire you.

I like to gladly welcome you in my company

Dell: that's great!

Mr. Midwell: you can start next week on Monday. Just come see me at 7 am in my office. Then I'll show you around.

Dell: thanks again.

he ended the call.

Dell: I have the job!

He lifts me up and spins me around. I smiled at him.

(Y/n): I'm so happy for you.

I gently cup his face and plant a few kisses on his cheeks, which instantly turn pink as I do so. I giggle at that.

Ding dong. ~

(Y/n): I wonder who that could be.

Dell: I'll go see who it is. you can stay here young lady.

Engineer placed me down and he walked out of the garage, towards the front door. to his surprise, 8 men stand at the door. not just any men might I ad. it's his old team. each of them wears casual clothes which seemed strange. well, everyone except for spy, who still seemed to be dressed like always, a classy suit, tie and mask. pyro also seemed to be dressed in their usual outfit.

Dell: Hey Fellas! glad to see you.

Medic: Ah herr engineer! zhere you are. its good to see you to mein Freund. (my friend)

He showed a heartwarming smile.

Sniper: oi mate. how do you do?

Demoman: hey laddie.

Scout: what's up hard hat?

Spy: Bonjour mon amis.

Soldier: hello private

Heavy: heavy mist little man!

Pyro embraced engineer in a welcoming hug. he pets his comrade on the back before the pyro released him.

Dell: How about we head inside?

he allows the men to step into the house. they all take a seat in the living room. Dell walks off to tell me and so we head back to the others. My heart is thumping in my throat. I can't believe it, I was finally going to meet the entire team. I'm so excited, yet a bit frightened. I know what they are like, but that doesn't mean I can predict what they will think about me, or the fact that engineer and i are dating.

(Y/n): hello.

I shyly greet the group. they all look up at me and greet me with a smile. this is enough to make me feel at ease.

Medic: ah you must be frauwlein (Y/n) right?

(Y/n): that's me

Medic: herr engineer told me about you. Oh where are my manners
