dell knocked on my bedroom door.

(y/n): come in.

he walked into your room. I lay down on my bed with my phone in hand.

dell: hello young lady, what are you doing?

(y/n): reading a story on wattpad. (XD)

dell: I see.

I finish the page before I get rid off my phone, and get up from my previous position. Dell takes a seat beside me.

Dell: I got some good news, I got a job interview in a few days.

(y/n): really?! oh engie, that's great news! so for what are you going to apply?

dell: program engineering.

(y/n): I could have guessed that. well, that's great. You can somehow still be in your old profession. Even though this is slightly different.... okay maybe very different. the only thing you could be killing is a virus perhaps. hehe...

he looked at the ground.

(y/n): are you okay, you don't look too happy about it. Did I say something wrong? ... oh shit! I didn't mean to upset you. I'm so sorry!

Dell: it's not that, it's just-

he looked up to meet my (e/c) eyes which are filled with concern.

He sighs.

dell: well never mind

(y/n): you can tell me, at least if you want too. I won't force you to talk but just know that I'm here for you if you need me.

he hesitated for a moment. I can see him think. he always slightly frowns when he ponders about something." I wonder what's on his mind-" Dell takes both of my hands in his. his thumb softly strokes over my palm.

Dell: actually, there is something I have to tell you.

(y/n): yes, what is it?

The small Texan began to sweat as his nerves took over. his cheeks turn pink when he realizes how long we've been looking into each other's eyes.

"aw shucks. I'm not good at this."

he takes a few breaths, gaining courage while he slowly thinks about what to say. he puzzles the words together in a specific order. he wants to openly speak his mind and tell her everything he felt. everything he would say would be genuine and it has to be perfect, but not too cheesy. he takes another breath before he spoke up.

Dell: (y/n). You remember the day we met, right? you remember how cold it was on that autumn day? the way the rain and the wind made everything freezing.

I nod. I have no idea what he is getting at. but I politely allow him to finish his story.

Dell: Honestly, when I sat there, on the street, it felt like the world was against me. I had no hope left for myself and I had no faith in the future. but then you came along. The moment I gazed into your sparkling (e/c) eyes, as we looked at each other for the first time. Time seemed to stop as you spoke to me in such a gentle tone. your kindness. all of that warmed my heart.

You showed such kindness towards me. At first, I didn't really understand why. It all got clear when you told me you are a fan of mine. To be honest I was kind of shocked at first.

But it felt so naturally at the same time and it made me realize. That-

I l-Love you, darling. From the bottom of my heart. I always have, since that fateful first meeting.

He blushed an even darker shade of red.

Dell: I have no idea if you feel the same, but- if you do, can I call you mine?

I was overwhelmed by his words, my brain had to process all of this for a second. Dell seems discouraged at that. but when I see sadness in his eyes. I lay both of my hands on his cheeks, cupping his face as I lean in for a kiss. words could not describe what I feel for Dell. it also began, on that day. on that exact same moment. but never dared I dream that he felt the same about me.

he closed his eyes as he returns the kiss. it was soft but full of passion. we both drifted up to cloud 9. the moment was sweet and I wish the need for air didn't have to ruin it. as we both depart, we snap back to reality.

(y/n): I would love to be your girlfriend.

I hugged him. He chuckled as he stroke my (h/l) (h/c) hair

I smiled up at him.
