Once Colby left I went to get myself a snack. I had to admit I felt a little weird that someone was constantly watching me but I appreciated the safety of it.

I opened the bag to see Colby got a box of gold fish, some Kraft mac and cheese, butter and milk to make it, and some cookies.

It never failed to amaze me how bad at grocery shopping these guys were.

I made the mac and cheese then snuggled into the couch.

I knew the girls were going to come here in a little while but I wanted to just relax as best as I could.

My mind and body were still tired and I was a little afraid to be by myself.

I trusted Colby though and I trusted his men.

After a little while there was a knock on the door, causing me to tense slightly.

I knew it was probably the girls but I couldn't wrap my head around that.

"Jules! Let us in!" Tara said as she knocked again. "Sorry." I said then got up and went towards the door.

"You don't want us to come in?" Tara asked as I opened the door. "She's probably still traumatized from yesterday, give her a break." Devyn said with a laugh.

"How are you feeling?" Kat asked quietly as they all filed into the room.

"Uh...okay." I said and looked down the hallway to see two men, one on each side, staring down at me.

I felt a chill run down my spine, even though I knew they were in Colby's gang.

"Don't worry about them." Stas said quietly as she linked her arm through mine.

"You guys seem so calm." I said as we all walked into the hotel room. "Yeah, we're kinda used to this. We're not used to what happened to you though." Tara said as I looked down at my legs.

There were jagged stitches and scars all over my leg from where the glass was.

I knew my whole upper body was bruised and battered but I didn't want to think too much about it.

"We don't have to talk about this." Kat said and put her hand on my shoulder.

"No, it's okay. It was scary for you guys, too." I said with a sigh.

"I feel like this is all my fault and like you guys are being put in danger." I said quietly. "No! It's all Colby's fault." Tara said with a laugh.

"It's all of the guys' fault. If they just had a normal fucking job this wouldn't be an issue." Stas said and grabbed the gold fish box.

"Yeah, but it's so hot though." Devyn said causing me to laugh. "It's annoyingly hot!" Katrina said and shook her head.

"So are you and Colby like..dating?" Tara asked as I shrugged. "Not really. We're just doing our thing." I said and pulled my legs onto the couch.

I didn't want to tell the girls that I loved Colby. I didn't even really want to admit it to myself all that much.

Being in love seemed dangerous, and I don't think he even felt the same way.

"That's fun. Colby has never kept a girl around this long so you must be doing something right." Devyn said with a smile.

I knew they were just being nice but they didn't know the full story as to why I was here.

They didn't know how fucked in the head I was for falling in love with him.

"Yeah, maybe he just feels bad that I almost get killed a lot." I said with a shrug. "No, that boy is in love with you. Trust me." Kat said with a laugh.
