Chinese new year - Terezi x Reader

Your city had a Chinatown. So that meant the whole boulevard isn't a vehicular pass.
Chinese New Year wasn't your favorite moment of the year, it wasn't just thaaaat relevant for your culture so you shrugged it off.

You like Chinese culture though. Fests, food, traditional clothing, theater, fireworks, everything
So it was more of a plus than a loss
The festival was in two hours and you were laying on a puffy blanket on the floor, eating animal cookies with milk, and your roommate terezi laying in opposite direction, so your feet were near her face and her vice versa

You both were scrolling through your phones, occasionally sending memes to each other even though you were one meter away. You saw a live transmission of the prep of the festival and you just realized something

You sat at the speed of a lightning, letting fall crumbles of cookies that were resting on your chest. You startled terezi.

Terezi walked to her room, she also smelled through her closet to find a delightful cherry clothing, while you were changing already.

She held the "boyfriend" shirt, she unhung it and directed the front to her nose, it smelled different to she knew it had a logo or something. She smelled thoroughly and saw a picture of a chinese -aesthetic- dragon in black and white
She smiled and searched for her black sport shorts.

You got changed already. You stopped using perfume since terezi moved in with you. You didn't mind, only used it in special occasions. She said it burns her nostrils to smell something so strong and confusing, but the last time you used a body spray she said it smelled like the color baby yellow. You put on your white sneakers and some fun earrings. You left your hair just like that.

You went out of your room
"are you ready?"
You shout to terezi

She went out of her room as well, you enjoyed the way she looks, she's a total icon dang
You noticed she picked same color palette as you, she was wearing red shirt, black shorts, white sneakers, what a lovely coincidence

She walked to you

She sniffed on your shirt, and lowered just a bit, trying to not be disrespectful to you

You checked if she had her cane, if the curtains were closed, if you had your keys. Everything in order. Still you took her hand and headed to the door, leaving the flat. You ungrabbed her hand and locked the door. You both started walking
