Derek's P.O.V.

I told her I wanted her and she just stood there, I waited for her to respond but she just stood there staring at me,

"I did say that out loud right?" she nodded slowly and backed away and my heart tighten, "I know I shouldn't feel that way, and don't worry now that it's off my chest we can act like I never said any-" she cut me off by throwing her arms around me and hugging me tightly,

"WHy would I want to act like it never happen? This is the best news I've been given all week," I slowly wrapped my arms around her and sighed,

"You don't think it's weird that I'm an adult and your teacher, but I want to be more?" she let go and looked up at me,

"No, I feel the same way," my mouth hung open and she giggled, "Maybe we should get out of the bathroom before the bell rings and people walk in, I only nodded and she walked out first signaling me when it was clear,

"You really feel the same way?" she nodded eagerly,

"I really do, but where does that leave us?" I thought it over and shrugged,

"Maybe I can stop by your house after school and we can talk about it?" she pulled out her phone and gave me it,

"Here put your number in and give me yours so I can out mine in," I took her phone and gave her mine,

"What's this for?" she handed my phone back,

"So I can tell you when to come over, Zack's going with his mom to one of her clients homes for a dinner party, I'll tell them i'm not feeling up for it and you can come over then," she gave a shy smile and I returned it,

"You thought of that fast," she nodded and looked away,

"I've often wondered what it'd be like if you returned my feelings, so I guess I've been a little prepared," she blushed and I chuckled,

"Well, I'm glad, and I'll see you at lunch right?" she smiled,

"Yeah, I'll see you at lunch and-" she stopped talking when Ms.Williams walked up to us wearing her normal clothes again,

"Oh hello, sorry you had to see our little show earlier," she told Feira while putting her hand on my shoulder, I moved it away and she tried grabbing my hand but I clenched my fists,

"It's fine, what you two do on your personal time is your business, have a nice day," the hurt in Fei's eyes showed through only slightly and I tried to give her a reassuring glance but she wouldn't even look at me, then she walked down the hall,

"I've already told you Ms.Williams, there is nothing going on between us, and for you to put your hands on me like you own me is not okay," she smiled bigger,

"I do like a challenge Derek, and I'll have you know I always get what I want, and at this moment I want you," she took a step toward him and looked up at him, "No one and nothing is going to get in the way of what I want when I want it, and definitely not some pathetic little senior who you seem a little too close to," I scoffed,

"Listen to yourself, your jealousy is making you delusional, and you saying you get what you want may scare other people but I see passed that like act and from what I can tell you hardly ever get what you want, that's not going to change, besides...I have a girlfriend," and I walked down the hall with a smile on my face.

A girlfriend? Could Feira become my girlfriend? I mean no doubt I've thought about it endlessly, but maybe it could really happen. She did say she felt the same way and I couldn't get the goofy grin off my face as her words circled around in my head.

I feel like a teen again...but that's just it, I'm not a teen and I'm her teacher, but if she's willing to look passed that then so am I and I'd love to be her reason to smile because she sure as hell is mine. .........
