Chapter 22: Forced To Fake

Derek's P.O.V.

Classes went by extremely slow, maybe it's because I was eager for Feira to come over later. It'd be her first time over to my house and I hope it isn't her last,

"So, you ready for Fei to come over, did you clean?" Celine teased but I chuckled then tensed,

"Should I have cleaned?" She laughed causing girls to glare at her and boys to gnaw at her practically eye raping her, "Back to work," I snapped and Celine calmed down,

"I'm sure she won't mind Derrek, calm down already," I nodded,

"You'll be there right?" She shook her head,

"No? Why would I be there?"

"Just in case it gets awkward, or if I get nervous or she doesn't want to talk to me-"

"De, calm down seriously, you're really starting to bum me out,"

"I can't help that I'm nervous," she laughed again, "What?"

"Out of all the girls I've seen you with...you've never considered yourself nervous with them,"

"Feira isn't like them, and I don't know if we have a future together, but..."

"But?"

"I want a future with her," Celine smiled big,

 "Awe, someone's in love," I shook my head and the bell rang signalling school ended, "Looks like you better rush home and fix yourself up,"

"Shouldn't I offer her a ride?" Celine shook her head,

 "No I'm having her drop me off somewhere then she's driving over to your place, so just head home and get whatever you need ready," she winked at me,

 "We're just going to hang out,"

"Oh, I'm sure that's all you two are going to be doing," I was about to scold her but she skipped out of the room and right when the door closed I got a text Feira,

 Is it still okay if I come over?

I read it and scoffed,

Of course I sent then added. If you want to...

She didn't respond and I kind of felt disappointed then my phone vibrated,

Sorry, Celine took my phone and called one of her friends. I still want to but I have to drop her off somewhere so I'll be there in 20, okay?

I smiled then realized I haven't even left the school yet,

I threw my phone in my bag and locked up, but when I turned around Ms.Williams was standing in front of me, "Excuse me Ms.Williams, I've got somewhere I need to be," she smiled but didn't move so I pushed passed her,

 "Running off to meet your girlfriend? Or should I say Feira," I stopped dead in my tracks and turned to face her,

 "What did you just say?" She walked up to me like a predator would it's prey and licked her lips,

 "I didn't stutter, Mr.Vaughn, you are in a relationship with Feira Sisteen," I lost my cool for about two seconds but regained composure and growled,

 "Don't go around saying stuff like that! I could lose my job for your incoherent babbling!" I snapped and she raised an eyebrow,

 "Well, if it isn't true than go on a date with me," I shook my head,
