Chapter 4: Great minds think alike...

 Derek's P.O.V.

  All second period I couldn't get her out of my mind. I regretted treating her like I did but I wanted to see her more, so at the time giving her lunch detention seemed like a good idea, but then I saw her lower her head in fear and I scolded myself for making her feel that way. I didn't have students for second hour so I slid out my door and into the one next to mine, knowing she was in that class,

  "Oh, hello, mat i help you?" I smiled at the elder teacher, she looked around her sixties,

  "Uh, yes, I'd like to introduce myself to you, I'm the new teacher next door, Derek Vaughn," she smiled at and I let my eyes roam the room in search of the one thing that clouded my mind, skimming passed all the girls begging for my attention I found her buried in the back. Her head was on her desk and she looked like she was sleeping,

  "Very nice to meet you, everyone, attention please," the class rudely talked over her and I was about to cut in when Feira did it for me,

  "Hey, shut up!" everyone quieted down and the teacher smiled a thank you at her, Feira simply smiled back and laid her head back down, did she even see me? Does she not care that I am standing right here? Did I offend her? Of course I did, I gave her detention on the first day of school,

  "This is the new English teacher, Mr.Vaughn," I waved at the room and got winks from girls and glances from guys who looked less than happy to be alive. All the while Feira didn't look up once, I sighed and turned to the teacher, "I'm Mrs.Coral, welcome to Alpha High School, if you have need of anything let me know," I nodded,

  "Thank you, that is most appreciated, have a nice day," she cocked her head,

  "Perhaps we can speak of your teachings over lunch," I smiled but shook my head,

  "Sorry I have detention to serve," she looked shocked,

  "Or maybe you do need help with keeping them in line," a small laugh left her lips and I shrugged, "Have a nice day Mr.Vaughn," and with that I walked back into my classroom. Have I ruined my chances with her al-, wait, what am I saying? She wouldn't be interested in me. I'm her teacher and she is my student, nothing more.

  Feira's P.O.V.

  Walking into second, I walked up to Mrs.Coral's desk, "Good morning Mrs.Coral," she smiled at me,

  "Good morning Ms.Sisteen, how have you been?" I gave her a tight smile and she sighed, "Things haven't gotten better at home?" I slowly shook my head. i told Mrs.Coral of my family and how I get treated by them when I was in Astronomy club last year and she was understanding about it, so I was excited when I found out I was having her as a Science teacher,

   "No, and i don't think things will ever get better, but I'll live," she still frowned,

  "You may rest your head in the back if you wish, I can only imagine what your mother is like now," I nodded knowing she used to teach my mom and said she hated it, I laughed at that,

  "Thank you Mrs.Coral," she nodded and I walked to the back of the class, picked a seat and laid my head on the table. In the middle of class I heard the door open and close then I heard the familiar strong and silky voice. I listened as girls made dirty comments about him and din't even raise my head until Mrs.Coral tried to quiet everyone down,

  "Hey, shut up!" I yelled lifting my head to look at Mrs.Coral and I saw Mr.Vaughn at the corner of my eye, he was standing there, his black hair looked like a perfect mess on his head and his built muscles showed through his tight fitting dress shirt, a smile was playing on his perfectly sculpted pink lips and I dropped my head before i was sucked into the never ending gaze of his hazel eyes. Mrs.Coral introduced him then spoke with him some more, then he was gone, taking his warm presence with him.

  For the remainder of the class period, I kept my head down and thought about my English teacher, man my life was getting worse by the hour, i have a crush on my English teacher.
