I woke up strapped to a metal table staring up at a very high tech room. Lights were all over the ceiling, and a shit ton of counter tops with complicated looking touch screen table controls.

I jerked on the chains and cursed, "What is this?? Let me go!"

My voice reverberated through the room, and although I was alone in the room, I felt like I was being watched.

There came a slow clapping noise and I turned my head to see Avory walking up smirking, "Hello there Rage. Like your new bed?"

I growled in my throat, "Let me go!"

He laughed, "No can do son. It's a shame you killed Knight. He was an excellent employee but it's also good because you've only fueled more fury and vengeance in Fate."

"Let me go!!"

"I could..." He mused, "But in that case I'd have to kill your friends."

A wave of cold smashed into me, "You...Have...Sam? And Asher? And Cody?"

Avory chuckled, "Yes I do. Why don't you ask me what I want to do to you?"

My jaw clenched, "What are you going to do to me?"

Avory clasped his hands in front of him and sighed theatrically, "I'm glad you asked! Now, recently I have invested a great deal of money in a secret project known as Project Nano. It's basically..." He chuckled, "Well it's never been tested on a human being."

"Fuck you."

"Now now. Not very nice thing to say." He smirked at me, "Anyways, Project Nano, is a top secret operation meant to inject nanobots into a human beings muscles. The nanobots blend in with the muscles enhancing them. Over time the nanobots will just dissipate but they will leave the muscles incredibly enhanced making the person a..."

I cut him off, my heart pounding, "Making the person a super human. Like Captain America."

He laughed, "Yes indeed. But not entirely. You see, the nanobots have a controller. Since they are in all your muscles, the person who controls the nanobots would have control of your entire body. I would have control over you."

My eyes hopefully gave nothing away but fear was eating away at me, "You...You'll let Sam and the others go?"

He nodded.

Tears stung my eyes but I nodded, "Alright." I bit my lip slightly.

I'll never have a life with Sam. I'll never be able to marry her, have kids with her, or live my own life. I'll be under Avory's control.

It took a while for the scientists and the nurses to arrive. Once they did, they had me strapped down in a glass tube on a metal bed. Above me was a contraption that was supposed to literally wrap around my body and put needles into all my muscles.

Yeah it was going to hurt. A fucking lot.

My breathing was shaking and I couldn't help the tears that burned my eyes.

The scientists set off a timer of ten seconds.

"10..."

Goodbye Sam...

"9..."

The glass walls were soundproof. I wondered what I'd look like when the operation occurred. How I'd look thrashing around in their little chamber.
