"Pete?" Vegas called out, peaking out of the kitchen where he was cooking to find his lover who he was yet to see awake after his late arrival back home from a two day business trip to Germany. The jet lag damn near killed him, but he had forced himself to wake up early and prepare breakfast for his favorite person none the less. It didn't help that he had a meeting with a few potential sponsors at a club he didn't much feel like going to after the long flight and adjusting of time zones. Not to mention he would much rather spend the night 'catching up' with Pete on what they'd missed while he was gone. Pete had sulked about the trip for half a week prior to it knowing all too well he had to stay behind and wait for Vegas at home since it was too dangerous to go without proper security on stand by. "Pete?" He called out again, finally hearing footsteps making their way down the staircase to the kitchen where Vegas stood. Pete was still in his PJs and sleep in his eyes, but that disappeared once he saw Vegas, the groggy expression changing to a smile, his eyes sparkling the second he met eyes with his partner. Raising the plated dish to bring the boy closer before setting it down on the counter again. Pete was the first to hug him, his face buried in Vegas neck and arms around his shoulders as he held him close. "I missed you" Vegas felt his heart melt hearing that, smiling and returning the hug, though his embrace was slightly tighter than the others. "I missed you too bunny... You didn't get into trouble while I was gone now, did you?" Vegas asked, stroking Pete's hair gently and placing a kiss on top of his head as he did so. Being without Pete for even a day was terrible. No. Not being able to touch him would be terrible, but being without him completely was the worst feeling he'd been through in his life. Through all the pain and doubt and misery, it didn't matter. He could do it all again with Pete by his side. With Pete there he could do anything.

"Tch- I should have known" Pete shook his head, the smile not budging from his face. "No, I didn't." Pete had been perfectly well behaved these last few days, but he had also been somewhat restless without Vegas by his side. It was odd- going from endless affection and attention in every way to none at all. It felt almost like he was on the decline from a nicotine addiction and he had to fight through the symptoms. Luckily, knowing Vegas, Pete was sure that this night wouldn't go to waste. At least that was until Vegas broke the news to him. "Oh right... I have a business meeting with Korean investors at the club tonight, so I might be out late." Pete pulled away, a pout now replacing the bright toothy smile that had pulled at the corners of his mouth and showing off his dimples. "What? But you just came back..?" Vegas could tell just by the look in his face that Pete was disappointed, ruffling his hair and placing another kiss on the crown of his head. "I know, but it's important and it can't wait. I'd actually have met up with them earlier had our schedules aligned. I'm sorry, you know I would much rather stay here with you tonight..." Vegas leaned closer, his lips gracing Pete's ear as he did so. "...And hear you scream my name"

Pete felt a shiver run down his spine, his lips pressed together in a line and his eyes closing to feel every breath on his neck. Vegas' hands found their way to Pete's waist, admiring how small it was compared to his hips. Pete was his same height, if not a smidge taller yet he fit so perfectly beneath him and Vegas fit inside him even better. Pete loved it so much too, his face everytime they played, it was pure Bliss. Vegas was the same. He hadn't ever slept with anyone that felt quite as good as Pete did, no less let him do whatever he pleased without a bat of hesitation. And as much as Vegas would love to enjoy him right now, they still had a breakfast to eat, and when has to prepare for the meeting as well as do some work from home dealing with potential deals and sponsors he already had for the club. Owning a business was something not uncommon for people in this circle. Anything that brings in extra cash is a plus. Not to mention owning a club was a great cover for organized drug operations to how smoothly without compromisation. There was generally more success at selling substances in clubs anyway since people were already getting drunk and trying to prove how cool they are. A part of him wanted to see Pete in that role too. Not as a drunken fool or a dealer, but as a dancer or waiter. The way he looked in a suit was enticing enough when he worked for that asshole Kinn, but in a fitted vest and tie or a pair of tight leather pants. Goddamn. Just thinking about it made him drool, though he was almost definitely sure the man hadn't danced a minute in his life. He was wrong, but he thought so all the same. Even of his dancing was terrible, with a body like that, you didn't need to be good at anything to be successful there. "The food is getting cold" Pete finally whispered, pulling away and picking up both plates to bring them to the table.

The day went by rather uneventfully, though Pete had made a point to beg and plead to join Vegas in his endeavours at the club, even if he would end up being on his own most of the time there anyway. He'd even gone as far as to break into his lovers office and sit on his lap to keep him from working, whining and complaining about how he'd been stuck inside for too long and he was getting bored until Vegas inevitably gave in. How was Vegas supposed to resist someone like Pete? The boy was perfect in every goddamn way, as if he was an angel that had blessed the earth and who just so happened to fall for the one person who couldn't be saved from the depths of hell. "Pete, you know I can't let you into the meeting... It'll be boring on your own. You can't go downstairs either since you won't have any guards with you" Vegas warned, but Pete didn't seem to care. The change in atmosphere would be good for him. Maybe he could watch how the girls below expertly flirted with strangers and pick up some of their tricks for personal use later on. It seemed he would need the extra help right now.
