Pete was the first to wake up the next morning, which wasn't usually the case despite being somewhat of a morning person. It had become somewhat of a standard now for him to wake up after Vegas when breakfast was ready and he could bask in sunlight as he collected himself before heading off to shower and get ready for the day. But now, he was laid on his side, eyes focused on his lovers sleeping face as he gathered the strength to hobble over to the on-suite to wash up. It also wasn't uncommon for the marks scattered on his neck and chest to be the first thing that caught his eye in the mirror after a rough night. Vegas much preferred their sex to be rough and felt that holding back would take away from the enjoyment of it to a certain degree- and while Pete did agree with that, the one time Vegas had been gentle with him, it was euphoric. Usually a round lasted an average of a solid fourth five minutes, which he didn't mind, but when making love, Vegas' stamina really came through and they'd go on for hours; as many rounds as they could until the heat had gotten too unbearable for even Vegas to handle. Not to mention it was significantly easier in Pete's ass and while he did still struggle with a limp the next day, it wasn't nearly as bad as if the other had railed him into next sunday. With that being said, Vegas had awakened something in Pete that even he wasn't aware was there until their first time together. Being chained up, blindfolded, gagged. Being teased to the point of begging, it was so twisted and so addictive at the same time. And as sick as it was, when Vegas finished inside him, he'd never been so turned on in his life. And that was the same man that had chased him to the ocean to beg him to stay. The same man that had, in his endless mercy, spared his life and taken his heart instead. The same man he himself had asked to come closer.
Standing under a steady stream of comfortably warm water, Pete zoned out for a moment, his hands busy rubbing circles into his chest to spread soap that had long since foamed up. It wasn't until he felt a pair of hands on either side of his waist that his mind snapped back to reality. He didn't have to turn around to know it was Vegas, his touch was too familiar for him not to recognize immediately. The other helped himself to a bottle of soap and rubbed it on Pete's back gently, massaging him as he did so. Pete turned his head to the side, glancing at the man behind hin for a moment before his eyes fell back onto the bathroom tile. "What are you thinking about?" Vegas asked, placing a gentle peck onto the back of his neck, continuing to rub soapy circles into the others bruised skin. "It's Nothing... I'm just thinking about P'Arm and Pol and Khun Tankhun. I haven't seen them in a while, that's all"
A slow but hefty wave of guilt hit Vegas, who nodded, humming at Pete's words. "Are you lonely?" He finally asked after a moment of contemplation, knowing he had likely kept Pete to himself for too long now. He must miss them- his friends. Vegas knew Pete was bored at home, but he hadn't done anything about it. Not so far. He really was a terrible boyfriend, wasn't he? For Pete's sake, he'd have to work on that. "Why would I be? I have you, don't I?" Pete smiled, but Vegas could see right past that. Maybe he'd call Porsche and ask him to come by for a visit while he got Pete a new phone. Now that he thought about it, he had no clue what Pete liked to do, he didn't know his favorite show, what music he liked, if he liked to play games or if he had a favorite author. He didn't know anything. It was a miracle Pete head stayed this long when it didn't seem like he cared beyond the limits of his body. Not only that, but Pete felt he had to lie to him about his loneliness. That was perhaps the worst part of this- he didn't trust Vegas enough to tell him the truth.
"Let's go on a date." Pete turned back to look at Vegas in surprise. What was this all about now? Wasn't he flooded with work these days? Where would he find the time to go on a date? "Huh?" Vegas' eyes looked as decisive as ever, serious yet warm and kind- a look that sent butterflies to his stomach. "Let's go out. I've neglected you these past few days and I feel bad. Work isn't an excuse, I'm your boyfriend, I should take better care of you." Boyfriend? Where was this all coming from? Not that Pete was complaining, and he certainly could get used to this, but why now? "Okay" Pete agreed finally, turning back to face the wall with a bright smile on his face. A date. What would it be like? Would it be a fancy dinner? A casual outing? Partying? "Alright then. Sunday is date night from now on. Let's finish washing up and have breakfast, shall we?"
"Wait, but what about your meetings? Aren't you scheduled to meet with investors this evening?" Vegas hands moved to Pete's hair, massaging his scalp and working in a drop or two of shampoo. "Fuck the investors. I don't need their money. The deal is more of a favor for them to get their name out, so they'll come clawing at my feet for a new date anyway. Just relax and let me spoil you the way I should habe been. Don't worry about my work. There's always a tomorrow." Vegas acting like this, it was like a switch had gone off in his head. Not that he wasn't sweet before, he was just never quite this 'grand' with it. Any of his previous partners, an occasional date was common, but it had never started out the way it had with Vegas, nor were they anywhere as generally intense as he was. He was the eldest son of the minor family- what else was to be expected? That he'd be like Kim? Even Kim could be malicious if he wanted to. Again, Pete wasn't complaining, but it was a bit of a shock to see just how quickly a man can go from merciless devil to bittersweet symphony. Bittersweet only because Pete couldn't help but feed the creeping suspicion building up inside him. Vegas surely couldn't be doing this just because he decided to on a whim, right? There had to be some reason behind it. Now all Pete could do was hope that reason was a good one.
