"Vegas, listen to me. I don't want to die if it's not by your side."
"Don't say that"
"Its true. Me without you is like a dog without a bone... A pet without it's owner; It's possible, but why would I want to be unhappy?"
Vegas too now felt like crying. Hearing Pete say these things, It felt so good, but it didn't seem right. Why was he so devoted to loving a man as twisted as he? Surely the sex wasn't good enough to make up for all the terrible things he'd done and all the terrible things to come too. Vegas was a pathetic man living a pathetic life. Why would Pete want any part of that? "Vegas. I love you. Don't be stubborn." Pete growled, his brows now furrowed angrily, though his eyes still looked sad. "I love you, and I don't care what that means for me or for the rest of the world or for anyone. I love you. That's it. You said I was your pet, didn't you? I left the main family for you, I admitted everything to Kinn's face. What else do you want me to do to make you believe me when I say it? Because I do. I really do. I really, really love you." The tear that had been itching at Petes eye finally fell down his supple cheek, and more followed swiftly behind. It hurt him just as bad as it hurt Vegas. He knew that they loved eachother, but their love, it was anything but simple. "I love you too" Vegas smiled faintly, his voice shakey as he held his own tears back with all his might. "Don't you remember any of that? Don't you remember?" Pete asked, almost pleadingly, and the sound struck daggers through Vegas' heart.
"Of course I remember, princess" Pete shook his head, squeezing his eyes shut as tightly as he could. "Then why would you say something like that?" Vegas' heart broke hearing how weak Pete's voice sounded. He really was worried about him. Careful to touch him, not wanting to be pushed away, Vegas pulled Pete back into a tight hug, this time holding on for dear life. If he let go, he might forget how to breathe. It was now that Vegas had realized his mistake. He'd forgotten after all. He'd forgotten that they'd been made for eachother. That very first time he'd thought it, so it was true. Pete was handcrafted to be with him. They fit together like a two-piece jiggsaw puzzle. There was nothing more to it. They just belonged together. No matter who cursed them, no matter who disapproved or criticized or shamed them. It all didn't matter, and it never would. Nothing in this world mattered more than Pete. An angel on earth, and yet Vegas, in his own self-pity, had forgotten. And now Pete was crying because of it. Backing away ever so slightly, Vegas turned their tight embrace into a passionate kiss, lips dancing a waltz too beautiful to describe or comprehend. In that moment of passion, blinded by their own love, they failed to realize how quickly they'd found themselves back in their shared room, Pete pinned against the door as Vegas flicked the lock shut.
Now was not the time to be hasty, so Vegas took his time, showering Pete's skin in kisses- every inch of skin as his clothes began to shed and fall onto the floor. And whatever Vegas' lips couldn't reach, his hands did as they unclothed his lover. Pete noticed how slow Vegas was taking it this time, and it reminded him of the hotel at the beach, yet even then they'd both been rushing to get undressed as fast as possible. Now, Vegas was more occupied letting his lips and fingertips explore Petes angelic body as he was pressed against the wall. "There's nothing in this curs'd world more than I want you're love." Petes tear stained face finally cracked a faint smile making Vegas' stomach flutter. "Let's make this last"
Gently picking Pete up by the thighs, Vegas carried Pete to the bed, laying him down onto the white sheets, their eyes glued to one another. "I love you" Vegas whispered, their lips meeting for another slow but passionate kiss, letting Pete's arms wrap around his shouldes and neck to hold him close. Stripping the last of their clothes and resuming their kiss, Vegas began to trail his affection in the form of gentle pecks down the side of Pete's neck and up to his adams apple from where he moved down to his chest and back up to his collarbone. Being high didn't compare to the feeling anymore, and coming down- it wasn't ever going to happen as long as Pete and Vegas. This man could be as rough as he wanted or as slow and sweet as he pleased, it didn't matter. He could shower Pete in kisses or starve him of them completely. Either way, Pete would like it. Vegas was the only man on the planet- no, the only person on the planet that could make him feel as good as he did with him. Placing himself between Petes thighs, Vegas didn't have to order the other to wrap his legs around him, Pete had done that on his own already, coating himself in a thick coat of lube, Vegas pushed himself inside Pete gently, pausing for the first time to give Pete a moment to adjust and soon proceeding to thrust his hips gently into Pete's, the sound of his gentle pants and Pete's soft moans filling the room. "I love you" He said again, their lips meeting again before he continued to kiss and peck at his lover's neck. While it was much more Vegas' cup of tea being violent in situations like this, he didn't want this to end up being regular old sex again. Sex was great and all, but he didn't want Pete to think that Vegas only loved him for his body. His love was far beyond what even the best writer could ever put into words. No poet nor author or artist could ever capture. Vegas could string him up on a meat hook or play him like a fiddle. He could choke him and pull his hair or he could kiss him tenderly goodnight for the rest of eternity. Either way, just being there with him. With his love. Thats all he asked for.
Vegas' obsession over Pete had grown since the last time he thought about it too. It had doubled since then, if not tripled. Pete belonged entirely to him and nothing would ever convince Vegas otherwise. He'd never let anyone else touch Pete, he woudln't let them talk to him if he could prevent it. And if there was ever a poor bastard dumb enough to go near him with any bad intent, Vegas would make sure they suffered the worst pain they could. There wasn't a think Vegas wouldn't do to keep Pete safe. Not a single thing. He'd take out half of Thailand singlehandedly if he had to, and he was prepared to. No devil in this universe could compare to Vegas when it came to Pete. Not the worst creature in the universe could defeat him. That was the beauty of love. You're willing to fight for it. And Vegas was willing to fight every man on earth to the death to keep Pete by his side.
