Macau tapped his foot impatiently, waiting in the corner of the room as he watched Chay from afar. He was eighteen now, which meant he and all his friends were drinking, though he didn't seem to enjoy it much. The music was blaring, the lights were blinding, the atmosphere was energetic and the air was so thick with dog and sweat you could barely catch a breath satisfying enough to ease the burn in your lungs. That was all fine and good- well maybe not good, but not awful either. What was a pain in the ass was to see Kim observing from afar, however. He hadn't been invited, nor did Chay want to see him here, but he'd showed up anyway. No matter where Chay seemed to go, Kim appeared out of no where, just like a malevolent ghost. Chay was yet to notice him sat there, at the far end of the club, staring him down, but Macau had noticed almost immediately upon arriving. It was plain as day. Macau squinted suspiciously before pushing himself off of the wall he leaned against, grabbing a drink from a platter and slowly approaching the boy who'd he'd sworn to make a move on. When Chay noticed him approaching, he turned with a smile, but his friends quickly pulled him away again, this time into a corner. "Dude- Macau totally has a crush on you. Look at the way he's looking at you" one if them whispered before jumping at the sudden shock of a hand on his shoulder. "What are you guys whispering about? Secrets? Let me in on it" he smirked, stepping closer to Chay, now barely two feet in front of him with a, thus far, unbroken gaze. Chay's face instantly flushed red, an awkward smile tugging at his lips and his eyes darting around nervously. If Macau hadn't overheard what his friends had said, he'd have thought Porchay was the one with a crush.
"Oh it's nothing I-" chay started, but was swiftly interrupted by one of his friends, sweeping in to make up whatever lie he could come up with. "We were gossiping about P'Kim" he said firmly, putting his arm around Porchay and beaming with pride, as if his lie had been so successful it could have landed him a career beside Hollywood hunk, Chris Evans. "Did Chat tell you? He's such a jerk. Chay confessed to him, and he was so cold, and now he keeps messaging him as if nothing happened." Macau hummed softly, nodding, though he didn't once break eye contact with his Nong, knowing full well the man they were talking shit about was staring him down with a blazing glare right about now.
"If it had been me... I'd never have broken your heart. Feelings aren't something to toy with." Macau said, getting a reaction out if everyone except for the boy it was directed to. Well, he wasn't a boy anymore. "I love to tease the person I like, but I'd never do it to hurt him..." He started again, looking closely at Porchay's face, examining every detail of his small frame and admiring it's beauty. "Especially not if he's such a cutie." Macau took a step closer to the other, still staring him down and completely disregarding the presence of anyone else around. With every step Macau toon forward, Chay stepped back hesitantly, until his back hit the wall not far from him, cornered by his friends and flushed red with humiliation. There was a good long pause between them until the others finally decided to back off a little, giving them a hot more privacy as Macau's intention was entirely obvious, only made more evident as he placed his hand against the concrete, leaning on it to move his face even just an inch closer. "Chay..."
"Can I kiss you?"
The younger of the two was frozen in place, unsure of what to say or do, but most certainly not pushing Macau away. In fact, he had almost let it happen, standing in silence as Macau leaned in. He wasn't sure if it was pure nervousness, or of it was love, but either way, Chay's heart trembled. if he did kiss Macau, and his brother found out... would he be disappointed? Porsche never did like the idea of him dating someone, he was far too protective an older sibling to allow for that to happen, but Vegas' little brother of all people? After all that had happened between the two families? If even someone like Porchay knew all about it, it had to be bad. Right? Even so, he couldn't resist it. But only nearly, as the second before their lips could touch, Macau was jerked aside and punched in the face, knocking him straight to the ground with a busted lip. He took the punch with a grunt and a groan, wiping the slim streak of blood from his mouth before standing up again, this time not to face his crush, but to face the asshole that had socked him in the jaw. Kim. He'd expected nothing less, but it was worth a try. Holding his jaw, Macau his his smirk behind his hand, watching as Chay rushes to his side, both furious and concerned. "What the hell? Kim what are you doing here? Why would you do that? Why do you have to ruin everything? You're such a jerk!" Chay yelled, though Kim didn't seem to care much, not sparing even a glance in the boys direction as he scowled at Macau, who was still smirking to himself. This was so much fun already, but Kim, the stupid fool. He really had no idea, did he? The poor soul. He was in for it now.
