Their Anguish My Satisfaction

Chapter 2

Mia had now grown into a beautiful teenager but as she grew,her depression also grew because yes she was now the best in her class again since she decided to stop helping Charlotte, her parents still said those hurtful words to her and even embarrassed her infront of her siblings,their friends e.t.c. So yes the things her parents said to her kept replaying in her head and that voice in her head always made fun of her whenever she tried to be happy. She always looked so sad and miserable as joy had left her and taken her smile away with it, she was also not getting enough rest because it was either she was trying to impress her parents who didn't seem to appreciate it or crying at night while condemning herself. In class she always admired those 'perfect' girls who looked pretty, had 'perfect' bodies and always seemed to do things right.

"Hi Mia" Charlotte,one of the 'perfect' girls greeted

"What do you want?" Mia asked

"I know I've been a bad person to you, I'm so sorry please forgive me I promise I won't treat you badly again" Charlotte said with a fake smile

"Oookay so....what do you want?" Mia asked with a suspicious look on her face

"I just want to be friends with you that's all" Charlotte replied sitting next to Mia

"You? wait hold on you want to be friends with me?" Mia asked resisting the urge to burst into laughter because if anyone had to her that Charlotte would be this humble she would have called the person stupid but here Charlotte was doing the one thing that she would never have expected

"Yes why are you surprised" Charlotte asked noticing the surprised look on Mia's face

"Oh it's nothing actually if you want to be my friend then it's fine but I need to go home now so see you tomorrow" Mia replied snapping out of her thoughts then she left afterwards.

"Yes! she really think I want to be her friend? Eww! But anyways I can now control her," Charlotte said to Kelly and Lizzy her minions

"But she is really pretty you know" Kelly said with a low voice

"What did you just say?" Charlotte asked angrily

"Nothing." Kelly quickly replied in fear

Days passed and Charlotte was still pretending to be Mia's friend, trying to manipulate her into doing things she would never even think of doing but Mia knew better; politely declining Charlotte's bad ideas or making up an excuse to not do them which frustrated Charlotte because Mia was every teachers favourite student: always quiet in class answering every question, submitting assignments on time and passing every test and exams. She was also very obedient and honest I mean what other kind of student could a teacher wish for? Mia was pure perfection. They always advised every student to look up to her and be like her which made Charlotte's so angry

"Why would they say we should be like stupid Mia why don't they advice the others to be like me? why won't they praise me I'm going to kill Mia one day!" She would think to herself everytime Mia was being praised.

Mia was going to buy something on one sunny day when she came across a stranger who almost fell to the ground while admiring her beauty

"Oh my goodness are you okay?" Mia asked with a concerned look on her face

"How won't I be okay when I'm standing before a goddess? you are so beautiful are you from this planet because I have never seen anyone as beautiful as you! your face is so perfect I mean if I die now I'll know I saw the most beautiful creature on the planet before dying" The guy said almost worshipping the ground Mia was standing on

"Thanks I guess but umm no one is dying. Well I'm glad you're okay I'll just go to where I was going now"
Mia replied awkwardly letting out a nervous laughter
