"Hey James" Adam called out
"Yes?" James responded
"what's up with you and Mia?" Adam asked
"I don't understand what do you mean?"
"Well you two seem close are you two like dating or something?"
"If we where I don't see how it concerns you" James replied then walked out.
Adam and James weren't really on good terms with each other, they used to be best friends until Adam betrayed James out of jealousy. Meanwhile Mia was thinking of going to the party but after the encounter she had with Charlotte she decided she wasn't going. Charlotte didn't even want her to come.
"Mia" She heard a familiar voice call behind her
"James!"
"What's wrong with you? you look sad"
"It's nothing I'm not sad just thinking about something" she lied
"Okay so are you going to Charlotte's party"
"Well I'm not sure Charlotte would want me at her party because she hates me"
"Please I'm sure she doesn't okay. If you don't come I'm not going so please come, because of me" James pleaded making puppy eyes at Mia
"Fine I'm only attending it because of you not that the host wants me there"
"I'm sure she does".
Mia arrived at the party wearing a sweater and baggy jeans which made Charlotte laugh at her outfit
"Oh my Gosh! girl you are so boring you always wear trash you can't even dress pretty for a party, my party it disgusts me".
Even though Charlotte's words made Mia feel super insecure she still stood up for herself
"Oh really I always wear trash? wow that's a lot coming from someone who dresses like a whore. Look at your dress screaming I'm horny someone please take me to bed! oh I'm so sorry I forgot that's what you are, a whore. The only thing stopping that shirt from falling is that rope and, where is your trouser because you are wearing only your underwear someone please borrow her a pair of jeans if you have any to lend to this pathetic soul I know you don't want to catch any infections from her because she has a lot to spread so I suggest you don't take it back from her" She clapped back making everyone's jaw drop.
Charlotte was so embarrassed and angry but before she had the chance to say anything Mia walked out to get some fresh air. She was trying so hard to stop herself from crying because even though she clearly brought Charlotte down she was still so sad
"Looks like someone is in a really bad mood" Adam said appearing behind her
"Great! Is this my punishment for talking to Charlotte in that manner?" She thought to herself
"Didn't you miss me?" Adam asked hugging Mia from behind
"Stop this Adam please I really don't like you touching me like that" She said calmly
"Oh really, why is that?" Adam asked but got no reply so he continued despite knowing that Mia didn't like it
"Come inside with me I want to show you something" he whispered
