"Someone is here to see you"
Granny announced to Mia who was feeling too lazy to get out of bed
"since when did I start having visitors"
Mia grumbled not feeling ready to get out of bed
"girl get your lazy ass out of bed and you better wear something cute you wouldn't want to be seen in that sack you call a hoodie"
Granny teased
"hey granny I'm offended"
"and I am delighted"
Granny left giving Mia time to get dressed for her mysterious visitor. She quickly washed her mouth and threw on a white crop top, light blue shorts and knee length socks then she put her hair up in a messy bun.
She was surprised to see James in her granny's living room and he was chatting laughing with her like they've known each other for very long time
"oh Mia where did you meet this young man? he so funny"
Granny laughed
"I'm surprised you didn't try to kill him"
Mia said folding her arms and staring at James
"oh no I wouldn't do such a thing and besides you explained things to me the other day. I'll just leave you two to have a chat and oh don't do anything stupid in my house you know what time mean"
Granny said winking at Mia as she excused them
"Mia hope you're happy to see me as much as I am?"
James asked with a smile
"what brought you to my apartment?"
Mia asked with a frown, her arms still folded
"your grandma's apartment?"
James jokingly corrected
"listen to me I was doing something important before you came to disturb so I guess I should go back to doing that instead of being here talking to you. you can go to Charlotte, you both would make a great couple"
Mia said with envy before turning around to leave
"she's dead"
James announced making her stop
"what do you mean by that? I don't understand"
She's dead Mia she goes involved in an accident which calmed her life. We'll never see her again"
"Charlotte is gone? the Charlotte I know is dead?"
"yes, yes she's gone"
James said with sadness in his voice
"but she didn't deserve that, why did she have to die?"
Mia asked with tears in her eyes
"come here Mia, its okay"
James said giving her a comforting hug
"it's like everyone I know keeps dying one by one"
"don't say that again Mia"
After the side moment they both decided to go out for walk and did some catching up.
So how was your outing with that young man"
Granny asked curiously
"oh granny I didn't know you would be interested in that"
"well he is the reason you are smiling now after being depressed for some time now"
"yeah he's also the reason I've been depressed"
